Covers, please help me out, like i said i have the last leg of a 7 team parlay with georgia tech which i bought to +11 -190 left, now i need to get payed on this ticket for sure so what would do id you guys were me would you hedge out and get like 1400 for sure or do you guys like georgia tech plus 11 for the whole bang!!!!

Please some of the veteren cover guys please help !

Of course. If I ever actually played a 7 team parlay I would for sure hedge the last game, in you're case it's a no brainer because you have a good chance to middle that bet after buying it up to +11 for some reason. Ask yourself how much of the potential profit you're willing to risk, get V Tech at -7(buy hook if need be) and pray

for middle hit. GL

Think of it like this.  You&#x27;re parlay hits and you win $3100, if G Tech gets blown out you get $0.  If you hedge for say $1500, you guarantee yourself $1500 off of what I assume is a modest investment.  Would you be willing to bet $1500 that G Tech doesn&#x27;t lose by more than 11?  If not, then you should 100% hedge

Buy VT down to 6.5 and hedge it. In the end, smaller win is WAY better than a small lost. You will feel like a fool if you don&#x27;t get paid because you didn&#x27;t hedge.

Your gonna get a split of responses between hedge and don't hedge. When it comes down to it, its what you personally would like best. For me, I like guaranteed money so I would hedge.

Probably wouldn't do a full hedge, I would do something like 4-500 bucks on vtech spread (bought down to -7) and hope for a middle.

Hey Ace, I know i am going to get flamed for this but if it were me I wouldn't hedge anything even if you only had Ga Tech + 7.5.

i do not play parlays much or for that big of amount but when i do i do so with the hopes of getting the big payoff. by hedging you are defeating my reason (maybe not yours for playing a parlay ) in the first place. now i know people will flame me with money management , take what you can get, etc.

But hey , you asked for advice and that is mine and what i would do in your situatuion. if you lose , yea it will suck but you gave it a good try and you just didnt hit it. it happens. let your parlay ride and enjoy the huge payoff it it hits !

I understand your point that if you&#x27;re playing these lottery type parlays, then why hedge?  But the reality is he&#x27;s risking at least $1500 on ONE game.  He&#x27;s gauranteed at least $1500 if he hedges.  You throw in the fact that he has a very high percentage to middle this last leg of the bet and it&#x27;s an absolute no brainer IMO.  But we can agree to disagree.  He should do what he likes, but risking that much money on one game is silly to me.

Your crazy if you don&#x27;t put $1500 on VT laying the 7.......you are guaranteed at least $1500 and you could win both sides which means $4500!!!Man I have been here before with an 8-Team Parlay $50 to pay out $10,400, I did the right thing and hedge and even though the big ticket went all the way through I felt good knowing I was getting paid either way.....I almost middle with 1:20 seconds to go or it would have been a $15,000 pay out on $50 bucks....

if you hadnt bought them up i would go with my original advice but again with your middle possibilites i have to go ahead and alter my advice a bit on this one

put 900 on VT to cover the 7then u can still root for GT and if GT covers the 11 you get paid 2400, if not u still get 900 bucks...and a good spot for the middle

This.  If it were me I&#x27;d risk 1500 on V-Tech -7; lock in $1500 regardless of outcome, with the potential for a $4500 win if they win by 8,9 or 10.
