Idk what's up with SMU O/U 5 because when you look at their schedule TCU, Navy and Memphis are the only three teams that I would say should be favored over SMU, and it's not like SMU couldn't win all three of those games. Ben Hicks is already one of the more established QB's in the American conference, but If the Arkansas transfer QB wins the job, Cortland Sutton should have one of the best seasons in the country...

Does anybody know if you can do player prop bets for the season, other than just the Heisman? For example, I would like to wager that Anthony Miller has the most receiving yards in the American, David Cornwell leading the MW in passing yards, and a bunch of others... Idk if there's a sportsbook that offer these props...
DU what do you think about the Bills possibly signing Maclin? Just a few months ago I thought the Bills were right on the cusp of having to go through a complete rebuild, but if they can sign Maclin, this could be one of the best Wr' corps in the NFL. If Watkins, Maclin, Jones, and Clay are all healthy and Dion Dawkins turns out to be a good starting RT, Tyrod Taylor should take a huge leap and could turn out to be a legit franchise QB. I don't love Tyrod, but in a couple games he had Justin Hunter, Walt Powell Brandon Tate as his top 3 WR's, Nick O'leary at TE, and Kouandjio n Groy on the Oline... With one of the worst offensive head coaches in the NFL.

Thought this number was going to 5.5/ or 6
Great Points Brother
I think even if things break right SMU should be the dog in at least 5+ games ..Maybe add at Cincinnati and one or both of the Home games vs TULSA/UCF....
Hope they come up with some sort of run defense this season ...Otherwise it will be all track meets
Ben Hicks losing his job would be a but shocking , as he really came on in the last 6 games
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

SMU will (should) be catching about 18.5 or so at TCU...should be very high scoring, and very entertaining. would love to bet on them over 5 at + money. 7 HG's and a new buzz due to the upward trend...should, SHOULD see 6-6 this year and a lower level bowl invite.
i see them beating SFA, UNT, UCONN and Tulane...just need to go 2-6 vs. the others. 1-7 would push.
Until the wallet is full.

I also forgot Houston, and im not saying they wont be slight underdogs in a couple other games, but at this point i'm not convinced Cincy, Tulsa or UCF are better than SMU. I also fully expect Ben Hicks to win the starting job, but what I meant by saying if the Arkansas transfer wins the starting QB job, it would really indicate that SMU could be in for a big year, bc they only way he wins the job is if he clearly outplays Hicks all Spring and Summer...

I already loaded up on the Bills Over 6 wins , as I will get plenty of middle opps. if wanted as Locals already have the total at 7/7.5
Rex Ryan and staff destroyed the great defense Jeff Schwartz had going .. Was so painful to watch DT's like Kyle williams in pass coverage in the Ryan's Idiot schemes...
Signing Maclin would be Fantastic , McCoy just got back from maclin's wedding and has been campaigning for the Bills to sign him .. As you mentioned the Bills Core was down to scraps like Hunter and Tate LY .. Supposedly Andre Holmes has been staying at Tyrod's house and working out together ... Was real happy with the Drafting of Zay Jones ...
Biggest concern about the Bills is the depth at LB ...Any injuries would be devastating ...

Hoping for 21+ at TCU ...
on paper it could be a tough spot for the Horned frogs coming off at Arky and at Oklahoma St on deck ...
That being said TCU could roll 63-30
AGREE WITH THE 4 VICTORIES ....
2-6 OR BETTER in the other 8 does not sounds that difficult ...
7-5 is the most likely finish IMNHO ...
ATS could be FANTASTIC ON THE GOY LINES ...
Might have to wait till the week before the season for 5 dimes to release their extended list

*this type of game.....you ask : Will SMU have the FULL FOCUS of TCU?........NO.....they won 33-3 at SMU LY....now off a very physical game @ Ark.......with a road game with Okie St on deck (maybe the best team in the B12)
* Patterson's goal would be to just win this one.......to expend a lot of energy vs SMU would be stupid
The impediment to action advances action - what stands in the way becomes the way.

SMU at TCU?....
great spot for Ponies
*scrimmage vs SFA > NT > @TCU < Ark St < UConn
*they usually play well AT TCU.....covered 4/5
*huge for SMU / TCU not so much

Courtland Sutton is getting a LOT of attention in the mock draft community. Chad Morris has it going in the right direction. If they put a beating on a couple teams early, the "cat will be out of the bag" so to speak. Get the value now, not sure if itll be there during the season.

LOVE IT Glad you agree
MAKES ME WANT TO POUND THE GOY LINES WHEN OFFERED ( I think they offer the best value in all of sports wagering )
GREAT LANDMINE SPOT as you mention
My Current prediction = TCU 36 SMU 27 ..
. +21 would be worth a $400+ wager

AGREE BROTHER
Hoping to bet 4-5+ SMU GAMES ON THE GOY PRESEASON LINES
Schedule shakes out nice ... Start out 4-1 and most of the in season value could be gone

And Tulane actually should have beat them last year with their option offense.
Zero chance the Cougars lose this year in a huge revenge spot from last year's drubbing.
Still I agree 5 wins seems low!
THANKS FOR DROPPING BY BROTHER
If SMU only has 5 wins going into the finale vs Tulane ,GUESSING SMU would be laying 5.5+ to the Green Wave...
Houston will have the revenge thing going for sure , but that does not always cover the point spread....I do give SMU the S/up loss but stranger things have happened in CFB
6-6 at least 64.8%+ of the time according to my current numbers
