Amen to that buckeye. Last week it was Auburn and Az State that everyone was on. Fav won both of those games. I have even read posts that have said Georgia has NO CHANCE of winning this game and that Georgia is outmatched on both sides of the line. Guess it must be a different Georgia team.
South Florida -8.5
I have mad respect for you Rams and love your avatar, but you know that's NOT what I said. What I DID say is that I think Georgia has almost no chance to cover a spread of 7 or more. In other words, if they do win, it won't be by more than one score. Therefore, IMHO, a bet on Bama +7 carries almost zero downside risk.
I DID say that I thought Bama would win the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. I went on to say that Bama's d-line versus Georgia's freshman & sophmore o-line is a "mismatch."
Because I believe Bama will win the battle in the trenches, I think Bama will win this game straight up. That is the same reason I think Georgia has almost no chance of winning this game by more than one score. Why? Because teams who lose the battle of the line-of-scrimmage usually don't win, and if they do, it's usually by a very narrow margin.
I hope this clears things up for you a bit.
FREAK OUT!!!
