1. Kellen Moore ( Will need Boise to go undefeated to hace a real shot)
2. Dion Lewis ( I think this guy will have a monster year w/ an offense more focused on running the ball opposed to last yr)
3. Case Keenum ( Extremely accurate and leader on the field, will need the Coogs to go undefeated or 11-1 to have a shot)
4. Jacquizz Rodgers ( Shifty back w/ power and quickness, I see alot of Emmit Smith in him)
5. Jake Locker ( Lots of hype surrounding him, but doesn't put up the numbers you'd see from a Heisman candidate. Huskies will have to win Pac 10 crown for him to have a legitmate shot)

My list for the Top 5 Heisman Candidates are:

You might be right, w/ last yr winner being a RB, the QB could be the more logical choice. Keenum, Moore, and Mallet could be the top 3. I think Pryor is all hype. He hasnt shown me anything to even be considered.

I don't believe any of these guys will win the Heisman.

Bookie, U seriously think Moore or Keenum doesnt have a legitamate shot if either team doenst go undefeated? Take off your BCS goggles, bro. If either QB was on a BCS conference u know they'd be front runners.

er.........listed Moore......NO CONF USA PLAYER WILL EVER WIN THE HEISMAN .....period......horrific bowl game set CK back to square 1......
NEWSFLASH.......the BCS conferences/teams run the show......others don't matter in the grand scheme of things

2. Jacory Harris (Miami returns to relevance) wishful thinking I know.
3. Pryor (OSU will be in the NC and Pryor will be the one that gets the credit.)
4. Evan Royster (PSU will rely on the run and defense with the new QB.) Royster will follow the lead of Blair Thomas and Kijana Carter for NFL productivity.
5. Blaine Gabbert (Wildcard pick, Changing QB's at Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Okie St. Out duals Griffin for best QB in Big 12.)
*Kellen Moore doesn't finish the season because he gets a broken jaw from being punched in the face for being to good.
Question?: Is there a defensive player who could get some shine a' la: Suh, Berry, Dorsey etc?

Maybe not win it but kids who can go to NY.
1. Ingram (won't win, but he will be there in NY)

Yea.... Boise is only 49 - 4 the last 4 seasons going undefeated in 2 of those... But, Yea....no way they go undefeated right.
and UW was one of those 4 loses right before the Huskies became the worst team in football. How quickly the tide can turn...
Last year have Oregon for the 1st game of the season was brilliant scheduling, as I think the ducks "could" beat them with some mometum. However, I will give credit to the destruction of TCU in the bowl.

Keenum is old news.
He may throw for a lot of yards and TD's but this year look at the INT's and W/L colum.

as a penn state fan i disagree on royster, they will look to get stefon green more involved this year as well as one or two of the younger backs, not to mention they have o line questions and an extremely raw qb no matter who it is so defenses will just stack the box. we will lose 4 games this year too with a horrendous road schedule

You are correct, in that I did not factor the PSU schedule, brutal.

It's a popularity contest run by espn..........so the winner will come from the SEC or B10........ohio st has a cupcake schedule &, one way or another, will be on tv every week so even if he's only the 15th best player in cfb you have to put Pryor near the top of the list.............Mallett? he's a stiff & will have enough bad games to get eliminated........... Jacory Harris? LOL, no chance...........Ingram may have a shot if bama is as good as ly & he gets featured enough to get stellar #'s (voters may feel like it's time for a repeat winner).............Gilbert? No chance...........Keenum & Moore will likely be in the discussion all year unless they have more than a couple bad/avg games............JRodgers should get some notice but he'll need Moevao to be a threat to keep the D's off him..............Locker will have to have monster games the couple times he's on national tv to even get mentioned. As someone said in another thread, just because he might be the best pro prospect, that doesn't make him the best cfb player.

keep the D's off him............
* Lyle M is off team (not granted 6th year)....QB is currently Ryan Katz (rSo)......or possibly Virg transfer Peter Lalich.....coming fresh off a boating DUI....more talented but that is his 3rd alcohol incident.....reason he transferred *Lyle M was one of the guys that stole the golf cart...

I heard Ryan Katz is coming along well. Benefited tremendously from Spring practices from what I'm hearing. Katz will be the starter for the opening game against TCU. He's got a big arm.
