I say anything around 10 would be a nice spread Bookie. I have no worries about the offense but I still need to see the SMU defense stop a high powered passing attack. The D improved dramatically last year and I think that will continue. If SMU can pressure the QB in this game, they have a chance.
I like this match-up in the opener for them because Tech is so much of an unkown. On the other hand, it's hard to cap an unkown going into the season. An outright win? Maybe. But my honest opinion at this point is a close game that SMU finds a way to lose in the end. But depending on the line, a small ML wager may be worth a shot.
I have to do more research on the Red Raiders but I'm hoping this is the breakthrough win the Ponies have been looking for since....well, 1983.

Is Marc Lawrence strictly an on-line order or can I expect it to be Book stores etc too.....This seems to be a popular mag. and may replace my Steele. I like Phil's stuff, but I hate sorting throuigh all the irrelavant stuff that happened a decade ago.
