Public Apology to Boom Boom

Hey man,

I apologize for the words I said in regards to you pulling for your team. I have enjoyed the trash talk between our conferences and teams. You have a very strong in opinion of the ACC and Clemson. Likewise, I have a very strong opinion on my Dawgs and the SEC. 

I just get sick and tired of people trying to "go against the grain"...I mean, cmon man...over the last 10 years, the ACC has been garbage. I just don't know why you take such a strong stance on a conference that really hasn't proved itself over the last several years. 

Anyways, good luck with your Clemson Tigers. I believe Watkins, Boyd, Dabooooo, etc. will be strong this year. 

In regards to UGA vs. Clemson...the line is a PK, I believe. Should be a great first game. If you want to make a friendly wager(I cant think of anything off the top of my head) I will honor the +2 for your Tigers. 

I hope there are no hard feelings. I expect a profitable season from you this year.

i have gotten into with Boom Boom as well.

i believe he is too much a homer of Clem and the ACC, but i believe he is a pretty sharp cat when he is not being a homer

Im not a conference guy. Im a Clemson Guy.... and have very deep roots.

Trust me when I say Im not a conference guy. Im not like the SEC Boys who pull for each other. 10 - 15 years ago this sort of stuff didnt go on....I have no idea where it started.

SEC nation is mind boggling to me. They pull for each other. Believe this when I say it CHAD..... BAMA dontgiveafuck about you. What Alabama has accomplished has nothing to do with your dawgs. Nothing.... you dont get a prize for the things anyone else has accomplished... NOT A THING. I live here in a state that is also accompanied by Gamecocks, now talk about ZERO HISTORY and tradition. But yet they feel some sort of entitlement to what other teams ( which BTW...have beating them for 25 years ) have accomplished.

Guess what the university of South Carolina has accomplished in there storied ( sarcasm ) history?  Take a guess! The have won ONE conference championship in 1969 in the ACC...not the SEC, but the ACC. Guess what the ACC did to them? Kicked them out. Why? There academics were so poor they were an embarrassment to the league. I know the fans will tell you choose to leave on their own....but that's simply not true. I actually joke with my gamecock buddies all the time and ask them when are having the parade for Bama's National Championship in Colombia? LMAO.... they actually think Bama's win over Notre Dame was a win for them. But reality looks them in the face and laughs.

Also you have the " others "... what are the others? The other 10 mediocre teams in the SEC who hasn't proven anything ever but yet loves to ride the coat tails of the " Alabama's " of the world. You know why us Clemson People love Alabama??? Because we know that they love their team and they laugh at all the other " POSERS " of the league. 

Back in the 90's and early 2000's when Florida st was destroying the college game like no other. 14 years inside the top 5 will never repeat again. Did " we, the ACC " wave the ACC banner???? Heck no, we hated the seminoles. We hated the fact that they beat us. We would actually watch their games just to pull against them. That's College football at it's prime. NOT this version we see today where a Miss st or a Vandy or a Ole Miss or a Auburn or a Tennessee or a Kentucky or a Missouri etc.... can stand up with their 3 - 9 records and beat there chest in victory for teams who stomp them in the ground year after year...... NO, football and College football in particular was built and made great by the HATE and rivalries. Not this hey, we love other teams BS.....


When I look around at this board I can identify the guys who are real college football men and who are just....well " posers "...

Good info......you can take it a step further and find guys who have a special insight into one particular team. Where I live, sports radio and print media have Oklahoma and Oklahoma State under a microscope. I'm sure alot of you have similar situations.

I took the apology back. Even after I tried to settle the issue...Boom Boom Pants still talked garbage. Boom is a loser. He losses every year at his own challenge game. He lost a huge bet during the SC Clemson game and he sucks at handicapping. 

I won his dumb game and he still found a way to say, "every squirrel finds a but"...what a dork.

and FSU had some great teams but the ACC competition was treacherous. I don't think it's any coincidence that FSU came in unbeaten at the end of seasons and UF would have a few losses and ruin their season. Florida took hardware from FSU more than once in those days. The reality seems to be that you refuse to admit the SEC has been legit for many years now. You disrespect the hell out of all the teams in the SEC, now what reason would anyone have to do that? Because it certainly comes off as envy from you.

@ Boom_Boom: What do you mean by "ambassadors", if you are talking about general football knowledge then that's a decent list. But if you are talking about picks then that's an awful awful list. The only 2 people on that list I would blindly tail would be Jimmy and Tree88, anyone else and I would go broke. No offense, I'm been on here long enough to know who are the legit cappers are.

I have been very profitable laroja. I have no idea what you are talking about. If you or anyone has blindly followed my picks on here since 2008 you would be up a substantial amount of money. That is fact and cant be argued.
