Ill take a look today ...sorry i missed this post
I believe I will be following you with the ODU Over..........Just went through their schedule and returners and they are primed to have a really nice season......They have 7 returning on "D" including their best 4 and 9 on offense including their QB (who as you mentioned played better as the year went on and their entire OL is returning as well.....I dont see how they dont win 6 against that schedule......I see 7-8 wins.

First off, great thread.
I have a couple questions:
-how do you find out what injuries hurt a team last year?
-do any of you pay for AccuScore (or similar software)?

Now, time for me to contribute:
Central Florida -24 (-115)
UConn +24 (-105)
UCF is replacing ALL 12 of their coaches. The HC is a first year HC. UConn has a veteran HC who has been around (previous HC at UConn & Maryland).
I also believe emotion is a "data point" to be considered in college football; not weighed on too much. It's like when a team openly talks trash to Alabama; they're asking to get stomped. Same is true in this game. I believe UConn in the "Rivalry" that UCF doesn't declare wants revenge. Do some homework on this "rivalry." Emotion: UConn.
Last year (WITH AN INCREDIBLE TEAM / COACHING STAFF), UCF beat UConn by 25. Do I think they'll do it again? Not with a new coaching staff & UConn with another year under their experienced HC.
UConn HC, Randy Edsall, is 13-1 in opening games since 2003.
Under Josh Heupel (who called plays), Utah St was the exact same in yards per game after he took over. However, from 2015 - 2016, Missouri saw a big jump in offensive production after Josh took over. However, after a deeper look, Missouri ALSO had 82% of Offense come back in 2016. Not all of the yards per game was coaching; some was on the players returning.
If it were me, I would bet UConn to beat the spread.
