I am hesitant in taking either team cause Penn St is well balanced & USC is over hyped. My lean would be Penn St tho.

to me this team looked like shit against
ARIZONA and STANFORD and some other game maybe CAL
 
don't know but their offense struggles to score like they used to
 
They are NAILS on defense

Vegas line is -9? Opened at -10?  That is a clue. Why not -6.5?
 
9 or 10 is begging for PSU money.  Can't buy in to that.

ughh...I was hoping to open this and see Penn State +10!!  I really like the Lions here...USC's D is tremendous, but Joe Pa's D is very, very good as well....I think Penn State has a little more offense then USC does this year, and I also think Penn State comes into this game with more fight and swagger then the Buckeyes did earlier in the year against USC...if there is one thing that is certain in coaching bowl games, is the law averages catches up with ALL coaches eventually...Carrol has been untouchable for the most part after a bye or the bowl break, but Joe Pa knows a thing or two as well...an outright upset might be far fetched, but I do expect a very close game...
