Rutgers +17 over Louisville

Not sold on Louisville, Thursday night Rutgers will be pumped to upset them.

More importantly they are road tested

Yea this is an interesting game...

Louisville is definitely a fraud, in the sense that they are considered one of the 10 best teams in football... there are at least 20 teams that would run Louisville off the field... and Rutgers would definitely love to put an end to their season of dreams...

However, Louisville should be sky high for this game, given how important it is for them to win it and put on a good show for the TV audience... if I bet it will be Rutgers, but I have to think about it...

That what I would roll with. Rutgers will cover in the 2nd half maybe even have it somewhat close something to the tune of 34-24

Like Rutgers plus the points here as well. Think this line should be 2 TDs. Teddy will be up for this game but Rutgers is a pest as a DD dog. I may bite on Rut here.

They looked so good scoring 55 points and barely winning against the 90th ranked team in the country.

I like a backdoor cover in a teaser of 4 teams +29.5 points but other than that I think there are a ton better games out there.

No one is talking about the 28-0 run that SMU went on to come back and take the lead.

teaser only.....I think Lou throws up 45 and rutgers hits between 20 and 24 points.

Louisville's #1 receiver(and only serious deep threat) likely out this week with a Sprung AC joint in his shoulder.  Day to day for now, but probably won't play. 

Cards will be tested by Rutgers' big receivers, but those of you who think UL is a fraud need to have your heads checked-been listening to the "experts" on TV too much. 

Still think 17 is too many...

I KNOW Louisville is a fraud because I have watched all of their games... this team is not even good, let alone top 10... they wouldn't finish in the top 3 in the SEC, Big 12, Pac 12, Pac 10 or ACC... and that is a pretty friggin sad statement... but it is beyond a shadow of a doubt, the truth!

Just wait until this team (hopefully) plays a legit CFB team in a BCS bowl... Baylor, Oregon or even Bama could beat that team by 40 if they felt like it...

Oregon, Stanford, Washington, Arizona St, UCLA and Washington St would all shove Louisville all over the football field... UCLA would beat Louisville by at least 4 TDs...

Louisville seems to get no respect on this forum.  Yes, I know they haven't had the toughest schedule ever but heck, they are still a good team and have some dam good players.  Besides, Rutgers are the kind of team that is hard to figure out.  A comeback one week, almost blew a 21 point week the next.  This game should be interesting but probably a no play.  We'll see.

This is a crazy post. No way would Washington beat Louisville. Pretty sure Louisville pushed Florida all over the place in the Sugar Bowl last year. Plus, UCLA by 4. C'mon man. They fought hard to beat Utah.

LVille has simply played down to their competition. {;ain and simple. They get a lead and sit on it.

Winning 30-7 vs Temple is the same thing as Baylor winning 73-42 ......winning is winning. LVille "coulda" put up 50+ on Temple if they really wanted to and let Bridgewater loose.....but they didnt need to.

Agreed. This is a very good, well coached team that has had to put the brakes on at times this year. Rutgers won last week because their 3rd string running back had a great game against one of the worst defenses in the country. The Knights' own defense was shredded for big play after big play. I don't believe that this game will even be competetive from start to finish. Take Louisville or flush your money down the crapper.

I watched the whole UCLA vs UTah game and UCLA had a very shitty game their QB got rocked also and he was never the same after that....they coulda won by 2-3 scores easy i think if he didnt get hurt...

l'ville keeps getting disrespected on covers, yet they have won all their games, covered 3 of the 5 full game ats, and covered all of them 1st half ats

LOL. I think you need to start watching ESPN. Teddy is the real deal my friend and a class act on top of it. Louisville has always played to the level of their opponent early in the season the past two seasons. The fact you come here and disrespect a team you have no clue about is just sad. I can not wait till Teddy puts up 400 yards and 5 scores in this game and you come back with your tail between your legs. Get a clue.

You may be right, but at best, this just tells me you can't feel comfortable laying more than a couple TDs with this team... but in my experience, dominant teams end up blowing teams out even when they are in cruise control...

Bottom line is... their competition level is extremely weak, and this team really should be blowing teams out, if they want to secure a BCS bowl game... I find it fairly hard to believe L'Ville wouldn't have preferred to put a much more impressive behind-whooping on Temple... 

Pretty sure this team is just not that good... and once they play a real team, it will just get viciously ugly!

First off, Washington would eat Louisville alive... I would lay every penny of my profit for the entire season on UW (PK) vs. L'Ville in a bowl game!

Secondly, last year L'Ville WAS a good team... they were more physical, more well-balanced... I don't know what happened, but this team is not on the same level as last year... in fact, that is exactly where the value lies in betting against this team as we get deeper into the season...

Everyone is obviously entitled to their opinion, but there's a lot of ignorance flying around here. That tough team from last year that has disappeared? 19 starters returned, including every single skill position player. Yes the competition has been crap, but look at the defensive numbers. We must be watching very different games. Last year's team was very marginal until the Sugar Bowl. This year's team is last year's with a much improved defense.
