Why would that even matter tho when shaw started last week and played great. Garcia is a bum him being off the team shouldn&#x27;t lower the spread he contributes nothing.

I agree. I don&#x27;t understand why that would come into play.  The line dropped from 5.5 to 3.5 yesterday before the news broke, then went to 2.5 about an hour before the news broke.  Very strange.I&#x27;m a Miss State homer and I don&#x27;t understand why anyone would be pounding MSU with that much cash.  The only way Miss St has a chance is if they start Tyler Russell at qb over Relf.  If Relf starts USC is a good bet.  Unfortunately we will not know who the starter is until gametime. I have a hunch Russell will start after his second half performance last week.

Both QB&#x27;s will see significant playing time... Mullen will stick with whoever is hotter... More than likely will be Russell since the O-Line has trouble opening holes for the run game... If Relf comes in SCar should stack the box... Don&#x27;t be surprised if Relf hits a long one... I liked the Cocks at first, but this is a distraction for them and hurts their depth at QB... Hopefully MSU will be doing anything they can to put pressure on Shaw and get some hits on him

yea i placed my bet when the lines came out on SC. garcia is off team for smoking some hippie grass. but hopefully itll be about the same. i dont see MSU winning this one if SC can play this week

I don&#x27;t understand this line.  Seems like it should be around 7.  Did anyone watch MSU last week against UAB?  Losing 3-0 at halftime.  Russell gives them a chance but I can&#x27;t see them beating a pretty good SC team here.

USC DE&#x27;s have got to be foaming at the mouth when watching tape of Miss St oline.  Not sure if Russell will be very effective with his inability to avoid the rush.  To me Relf is States best option for this game, but that&#x27;s not saying much at this point as he struggled against UAB .

agree..this line movement is strange....it looks to good to be true and smells like a trap...but we already knew Garcia was not going to be the starter anyway....as a gamecock fan, i'm glad he's gone...i think he's been point shaving myself....anyway

the SC defense should win and cover this game easily...as long as connor shaw doesn't make too many mistakes...the offense will shorten the game with pounding lattimore...defense will create short fields all day

This one reminds me of LSU only -3 @ miss state earlier in the year. I didn't take it because it smelt funny and like a trap but in hindsight it was the easiest bet of the year. MSU had no shot, the same I think will happen this week.

I'm trying not to read too much into the line movement and looking at the game for what its worth....USC is the much better team, but it is the SEC. I just cannot see them winning this game, especially not after the momentum USC gained last week offensively.
