He looks like he has scoliosis but the kid sure can throw a fastball!!!! Love him but heisman prob not!

You need to really impress to win the heisman in the west...lets see how he does vs the top tier PAC 12 teams.

Dude has over 2,400 yard 25 Td's only 3 picks through seven games.6-5 220 pound junior. He will be playing on Sundays and through 7 games with no one really standing out this year for the Heisman I think he is a sleepy pick. Watch out for Mannion. He leads the division 1 in passing yards. Brandin Cooks is a good athlete to have as your number 1 target. We will see as they get deeper into the divisional PAC 12 games.

Who do you guys think is the front runner through 7 games for the Heisman? Nobody really sticks out to me. Maybe Johnny Football but tough to win 2 in a row. Anyways like this kid and think he will do well for the remainder of the season.

Marriota will win the Heisman at the end of the season and the decision will be very easy for the board

It was against Wazzu dont get too excited for Mannion.  But hes a close 2nd behind Hundley from UCLA.

Johnny football is a great football player but plays with no class.  So dont think he wins it 2 straight years.  Either Hundley or Marriota or Alabama Qb will win it.  Cant remember his name right off the bat,

Sean Mannion, will be a top 5 rated qb in the draft, but Losing to Eastern Washington your first game and getting beat by Stanford and Oregon which wil prob happen won't win u a heisman.... But if anyones got a chance its Brandin Crooks the Wr on Oregon St. who is playing out of his mind right now.. Look at the numbers.

I think he will be a better NFL QB than Teddy Bridgewater, though... although that's not saying much...

Anxious to see the match up on Saturday vs. Stanford. Mannion has thrown for at least 350 yards in all games this season and Stanford hasn't given up a 350 yard passer this season.  He has thrown for 2,992 passing yards and 29 touchdowns so far this season through 7 games . He is on pace to challenge the all-time season records for yards (5,833, Texas Tech’s B.J. Symons in 2003) and TDs (58, Hawaii’s Colt Brennan in 2006). If Mannion shows up Saturday and throws for over 300 with a few tds and no mistakes we will start hearing more about this kid. Especially if they get the home victory vs a stingy cardinal defense.

The quality of the "average" sports fan continues to decline, and no entity is more complicit than ESPN.

Chaloots u r a scrub homie, PAC 12 is the best division in football. How much would u like to wager that the PAC 12 wins the national championship. I hate keyboard warriors like u who have never played a day of collegiate sports in their lives. If bama faces the ducks in the national championship they will get rolled over just like ur mother

And by the way whitejerome, I don't know about heisman but I put two large on da beavs money line to take care of business in Corvallis.  Possible 3100 winnings. Bank on that. Mannion and da beavs newly rejuvenated defense end Stanford's hopes of anything but a mediocre bowl game. Beavs roll!!!!

I've been watching Mannion since he was in high school. Part of what I was trying to say too is he isn't getting any recognition from media or espn. So because I think he should be in the Heisman conversation I'm a simpleton who believes everything the media says. Come on now. Anyways watch out for Mannion on Sundays . He throws a great ball and stands 6 feet 5 inches and great in the pocket.  This thread was also meant to give the kid  some recognition because he's not receiving any from the media. Dahamma I love PAC -12 football this year and getting more pumped for it as we get deeper into league play.

  MANY years ago, ESPN used to be great when it geared its programming to the hard core sports fans like college kids and young adults.  They beautifully mixed highlights of EVERY game with humor from the hosts. 

But the network became rubbish when they ignored the hard core sports fans, and instead, did anything they could to bring in new viewers who to this day, know little or care little about sports.  They want the drama-loving viewers who only care what Tebow had for breakfast, or those that are concerned where Peyton Manning is at 9:00 on a Tuesday morning.

Now you have dyke female announcers calling college FOOTBALL games, and a once excellent Gameday show highlighting a buffoon like Corso in his costumes, instead of breaking down the WHOLE college football card. 

And when Gameday or the announcers during a game run out of ideas, they pathetically revert back to the Heisman talk when a player is having an outstanding game. 

If they are going to keep bringing up that USELESS award, they need to keep updating what the past Heisman winners who never amounted to cr ap are up to these days, and quit discussing the game being watched. 

And the NFL is just as bad.  Keep pimping breast cancer month to draw in the female viewers, and ignore that there are many more diseases to be concerned about.  What about prostate, pancreatic, lung cancer, etc.?  If they did it for one weekend, I would be fine with it.  But they keep shoving their pink agenda down our throats.
