A lot better offense? Georgia played two games this year against good defenses and they struggled with both. Bama and Georgia are very comparable offensively except Bama's OL is better and Cooper is a difference maker outside for Bama and Georgia doesn't have that guy. Mitchell is good but he isn't Cooper. Murray is an athletic guy and he has experience but McCarron is experienced as well and has played on the biggest stage. No way Georgia's offense is better. I will give it a push.
The game being in Georgia won't mean much. I can assure you that Bama will have plenty of people in the seats. Also Bama has played their best football away from home the last couple of years IMO. They seem to get focused much easier on the road.
Georgia is solid on defense and has plenty of talent but they don't always play well together. The coachng is a mismatch in this game IMO.
I think you will see Saban loosen his hold over the offense in t his game. He has done that a few times n big spots, most notably the 2009 SEC Championship and last year's NC.
Bama's weakness is in the secondary and their inability to get a great pass rush. That scares me here but I believe that Georgia can be exploited in the secondary as well and I think you can run right at the Dawgs. Georgia better not play from behind in this one or they don't have a chance. I actually think UGa is overrated. They caught a tired Florida team that had played a brutal stretch of games and Florida played very poorly. UGa had something to do with that but Georgia as pretty poor that day as well. I expect a very focused and determined Bama team in this one and that usually doesn't end up well for their opponent. Georgia has a chance but Murray will have to be at the top of his game.

I would not give any points for home field advantage here. Bama will have 50% of the seats in the Ga Dome, you can bet on it. I am not sure this is a game to fire on. I think Ga will struggle with a good D, like they did with SC and UF. Richt also has his teams play tight in really big games, and that worries me. I think if Murray can complete a few early and get comfortable it will be a game, but if he struggles early, it may not be close. I'm just going to watch this one, and lament the fact that my team is not there, due to having half of their season TO total against the Dawgs. GL though to those betting the Dawgs, I'll be cheering for them!

Have you had a chance to look at any of this week's bb games, specifically UF-Marquette on Thur? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts when you get a chance to look at it. What do you think the line will be? I am thinking UF might be giving a few more points than is warranted. Should be a good early season game. Hoping UF can pull out the win!

Last yr is long gone, but it was LSU who did whatever they wanted vs Georgia in the Georgia Dome to boot, and now it's Bama's turn to kick out the twisted stepsister wannabee. They're capable, but it takes resolve and surprise and that = superior coaching of impact players, and I don't sense it with Georgia.
42-17 Bama, as they blow it opn in the 3rd qrtr.
