Well the line looks to be LSU +16 and after that loss to Texas A&M will they even show up
Even if they win now they will not go to the playoffs

Georgia wants to win
They want to be SEC champions
But the main reason to win is.
If they win they play in Atlanta, if they lose they go to Dallas.

But they practically do... #1 seed gets to choose the bowl game so they would get the Peach which is a whole 70 miles away in Atlanta.
Total pass for me on that spread though

Why would Georgia want to win big and cover?
1) Statement game after last season's loss to Alabama...
2) Recruiting - send a message to recruits considering LSU...Georgia rules the SEC...
3) They are a more talented and complete team
4) A month to heal any potential injuries before semi game...
5) SEC West way down this season...If LSU play Alabama 10 times, they would lose 7...So the SEC West Rep is not even the best team in the West
6) LSU lacks elite WR's that can take over the game...If Daniels could not create plays with his feet at TAMU, he certainly won't in Atlanta
7) GA has a talent advantage at most positions
8) GA has a stable QB advantage
9) GA has more recent experience at playing when the stakes are high
10) Kelly is ahead of schedule, but as the loss on the road demonstrated, LSU is not at GA's level yet...
Georgia 35 LSU 13

17 is just too damn many points with a kirby smart team.. Harold Perkins concerns me chasing Stetson around, unless im missing something and perkins isn't playing that matchup alone with how erratic Stetson has been, eek.. and Perkins will come up and get his head in on the run too. It's all about matchups, this isn't a team I just assume UGA will blow out.

@daytonavol
If uga loses Michigan is #1 and plays usc in semis assuming, tcu and usc stay at 3-4 w wins, uga would only drop too 2 in my opinion possibly 3 but either way gets tcu in semis assuming tcu takes care of business against k st

@Mskeets
Uga does not want bama in playoff and bama only gets in if usc or tcu lose and they are ahead of Ohio st in upcoming rankings. Those 2 long td runs by Michigan in 4th and score differential it create could be what keep them out and moves bama in if tcu or usc lose sat.

When was the last time Georgia won and covered 17 points on sec championship game ?. I’m from Atlanta and I’m going to the game this week. 17 points against lsu is too much.
