SEC dominance...

SEC teams try to take care of business in the Bowl games. Already it looks like the SEC will monopolize the top ten for 2013 pre-season polls. Programs are ALWAYS looking ahead to next year to keep their programs vital. PAC 12 will be ranked very low outside of Oregon or Stanford (both w/ freshmen QBs). The SEC gets a lot of sad incapable opponents. ESPN is tied in $$$ with the SEC for future bowls (tv deals), so whatever ESPN can do to help their "affiliated partners" in the SEC, of course they will do.  NBC is tied in with ND. Don Criqui and ND for the next 100 years probably. If the Big Ten wants to take a chunk outta the SEC they need to win these Bowl games. Mich and Nebraska shot themselves in the feet like they've done all season and we knew would happen. But safe to say, Ohio State and Penn State were outta the picture this season. That miht have changed the outcomes. Ohio State beat Mich and would not fold away against a So Carolina. No it's not a conspiracy. But it is PIRACY of money and attention, and it is by design (on purpose) because it's a business. ESPN is a partner with the SEC. If ESPN were tied in with the PAC12, we'd hear of how great Oregon and Stanford are ad infinitum.

I acknowleged your points. My point was both Oregon and K.St had their chances, too. If either one of them didn't fold, there wouldn't be an uproar at least to this extent right now.

How are the SECs better teams doing this bowl season??? Luckily for the SEC Alabama will bail them out vs a ND team with NO Offense and NDs best player (Teo) would be 2nd string at Bama!!

Miss st vs NW- LOSS

2 BIG wins vs Little 10 teams!! Nebraska and Michigan

There is no best conference. Most have 1-2 title worthy teams. That's all it has ever been, and all it will ever be.

It varies every year.......There is a top,, middle and bottom, in every conference...so  Top to bottom this year, there couldnt be arguemnet that the SEC is better than the BIG 12....Big 12 has 9 out of 10 teams in Bowls, SEC has some really down teams......Auburn, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Id even say... ole miss, miss st, and vandy are bad!!!

So for simplicity sake lets look at the Top 2 in the top confernces

PAC 12- Oregon, Stanford

Big 12- OU, KSU

SEC- Alabama, Florida

ACC- FSU, Clemson

Id love to see an 8 game playoff this year with these teams!!!

Depends on the day...im sure how you were brought up, "your team" and how much ESPN College football live, college gameday would also factor in to our Brainwashed minds.

The problem is ...its subjective and a disney owned company (ESPN) makes the most profit of the SEC ...so they say they are the best, without proof!!

First off no respectable college football fan feeds off of what ESPN says about the SEC.  People like the SEC because it has arguably the fastest players in the country and the best defense. 

this is definitely a down year for the SEC no question but people saying the big 12? the big 12?!?!  i enjoy watching big 12 games because they just go up and down.  its fun.  but that conference legit plays no defense.  NONE.  cant respect a conference that from top to bottom plays no defense

Statistically, they are. It also largely due to the type of offenses they run. I still remember that a lot of SEC backers last year said how A&M would be destroyed in their first year in the conference.

so one bad game and that makes the defense bad?  florida didn't show up plain and simple good for them.  but dont tell me because of one game their defense is bad.  their defense made florida state look like a 1AA school

After regular season

1) Alabama 11-1 ......SEC Champ

2) Florida 11-1

3) LSU

4)  UGA

5) South Carolina

IS how i would rank SEC Top 5!!!

Not that it Matters ...Bama is the only good thing in the SEC right now!!! UGA cant beat the west, USC will never get there, LSU is on the downward spiral, Arkansas and Auburn have fallen off a huge cliff!!!
