Estes, I was on the Pats +3 with you on Monday night, I had it in before I read your post but certainly agreed with you that night....You said pretty much the same thing about that game that you have said here "Waiting for it all year". Looks like a great game on paper but Florida will run away with it. Maybe you think Florida by 3? Please don't tell me you think Bama SU after what happend with that kind of logic Monday night. I am all over the chalk this time. I know it's not the same situation but the logic is the same. BOL

GrandDaddy, it isnt just Jones and Ingram...they have this little guy named Richardson...if Bama covers/wins, it will be because of both RBs

my 2 cents, respectfully
i'm a homer (gator) but i view it (objectively) this way:
-defenses close enough to call a push.
-offenses differ in loss of strength on bama o line from last season, plus don't underestimate difference between Tebow and Mcelroy.
i'm not  a cool aid drinker, but you have to give the edge to the senior v. the frosh.  may seem like a simplistic breakdown, but sometimes the obvious is not factored in.  bol all

Unlike last year when Alabama had only one go-to receiver Julio Jones, This year Alabama has added a trio in the passing gm —WR Darius Hanks, WR Marquis Maze and TE Colin Peek. QB Greg McElroy proved on the last drive against Auburn that he can make the plays to win a big game.

Almost every team Alabama played this year has had some element of the spread offense.

 Alabama Defense has geared up for this game since losing its final two games of last season (Florida, Utah) both spread teams.Saban has his team ready my friends. 

Alabama will be the new SEC Champions Saturday Nt in Atlanta, Ga.

Nice Avatar Estes...... I agree with your assesment of this game but I do not think it will be that big of a win.. I am looking at something like 24-20 Bama... I just don't think either team wins by more than a few points..

IF bama won it would sure as hell not be because their running game. They will not run the ball very well at all in this game, just be real. If they are gonna win its gonna have to be in the passing game and there is no way in hell mcelroy will have a prayer in this game. Im being dead honest with you guys, the only way Bama can win is if UF beats themselves with a couple turnovers. Bama's offense will look by far the worst it has all year and even though UF is facing the best defense they have faced, they will move it and score before bama ever will. The style football bama plays is not designed to work when you finally meet an opponent BETTER than you. GL

Looking through FSU and Auburn's season, I don't think the teams are that different.  Everyone is down on FSU because they were ranked preseason but couldn't keep it together.  They have played a pretty tough schedule though.  Auburn on the other hand is playing much better than people expected this year, bouncing in and out of the rankings.  However I don't think Auburn would be more than a three point favorite against FSU on a neutral field (maybe have to ignore the current FSU coaching SNAFUBAR).  From a rational point of view I think the line is pretty sharp and I'm surprised so many people are going balls-out into it unless they are doing a lot of betting with their hearts, which is fine, but it can be really painful when you lose.
