It is awful difficult to make a bet now based on needed 10 to cover an over with someone up 7 with 5 mins left..........that's just crazy.  Of course the game slows down, as it should.  Both sides of the ball get more conservative in that case.  My bet is that I won't need to wait for the last 5 mins for the over to hit.  It may happen as you say, but I can't bet based on some hypothetical situation like that.

Lest we forget that KSU has put an average of 33.1 points on the board this season and has a tendency to score regardless.  I am betting that Arky can put up minimally 42 of the necessary 63 points I need, so I just need 3 TD's from KSU to push at a minimum.  I think they'll get that and then some.  But just my opinion.

Ok so I got Ark has a weaker run defense and Kan has a bad ass running offense but not bulldozer style.  So what kind of defenses has Ark played all year to let up these 170+ yards per game or whatever it was?

What style rushing attacks have they (Ark) faced all year.  Are these stats dependable?  Do they logically apply to this game?

You make me laugh.. I am a huge Clemson fan.. GF got me a #2 Sammy jersey for Christmas. Wednesday rolls around and I make my 3 bet of all bowl games and hammer Mounts ML. My gf calls me a traitor... but in the end I tell her.. When gambling you have no favorite team for 3 hours.

Betting you favorite team is the easiest cause you know them so well.

Ark can't stop the run imo.  they didnt stop it against LSU and Bama, right?

I think we may actually see some semblance of defense on both sides tonight. Considering who k state played, their passing defense isnt as bad as u think, they played texas tech, oklahoma, osu, baylor, and a and m. So giving up 267 yds a game thru the air isnt all that bad honestly. 

This is how bad I am with knowledge of college.  I looked into this and found out Alabame runs pretty much a traditional nfl style run game and so does LSU with a little trickery here and there.  So then I looked at the decent team that they did well against and didnt let up many points.  Auburn and Miss ST. I was told these teams are tons more similar to to Kan St than Bama and LSU.  So I would have to assume that Arkansas does better against this style rushing attack.  Like I tried to say earlier stats are not always relevant. 

Everybody was on the over in Rose Bowl and both coaches said they were going to pound the ball...They both ran the ball well and the game still went over. At least 1 team should have a better "D" than they do "O" in this case tonight out of the 2 offenses and 2 defenses, both teams strength is on "O"  Bottom line is that these teams both rack up a ton of yards a game and they do not have above average "D" 's to counter that fact. In fact just the opposite in this match-up. ARK ranks like 80th against the run and K ST. will run and K-ST is ranks around 100th against the pass and ARK loves to air it out...This game Should go over but anything is possible. I love betting unders and dont bet overs at all. Like I said when I do bet on an under at least 1 teams strength must be on the defensive side of the ball

Ark has a new DC for this bowl game.  They have made major changes on D since the end of the regular season...I think the benefits will be displayed tonight...

i think this game could go over, and the public sentiment seems to imply that it will, but i am not too sure...i don' t think this will be another clemson, West Virginia or Baylor/Washington shootout...

I think Arkansas will score fast, but will temper it a bit by trying to better establish the run...

Kansas St. will exercise ball control, and I thinkk Klein will pass...If the Ark Secondary can get some ints, I believe Ark will bend but don't break against the run...this will enable Ark to pull away in the 4th quarter...
