You're so stupid. The defense gave up 42 points. Apparently you don't wath much college football. God you're stupud.

So when the defense stood strong and gave Sims the ball on 23 going in and he throws, maybe the worst throw I have see all year to give the ball right back to Ohio State??

Hmmmm...and Sims is responsible for how many of those points jackass??  Not helping his defense at all...Hmmm...Who is the Dumbasss...Have you been watching the game??  Or did you just look at the score before answering?

Did you watch the game?? Defense played well for about a quarter, then preceded to give up 4 touchdowns in 3 quarters. Sims didn't play well, but the defense got flooded. Giving up huge chunk plays for 3 quarters.

You sir are an idiot that lost his money.

Good defensive night. Give up over 400 total yards and 35 points. Great effort.

I like cashing though in Ohio state +8. Lovely.

Absolutely not true. The punter did an insanely good job. And the onside kick was even well kicked, bama just couldn't get it, but that's what you want onside kicks to look like

Feels like tOSU's defense was as good as their stats stated, and bama was as bad as their stats stated, gotta look deeper then total offense.

Both teams couldn't get stops. But Alabama historically stands up on defense. That was crazy to me.

I love your arguments..."Ohio State scored 42, so therefore it was the defense and not Sims"...Sure, Bama defense played god awful...BUT...Bama still could have won this game with...You guessed it...a QB that didn't choke in key moments...including giving up a pick 6...My post says Bama QB chocked, and you come in calling me stupid cause Bama defense gave up 42 points (Which you would know it was actually 35 if you watching the fuucking game?  Your a fuucking JACKASSS

It was the D that lost it in my eyes. Sims played well enough to win a normal Bama game he's not expected to carry the team ever. OSU dominated a Saban Defense it was amazing.

All I know is that OSU dominated Bama.

I would not be surprised to see the same thing happen to Oregon. Looking through the stats and watching the games it was obvious OSU was better then Bama. Through watching the games it was impossible to tell if OSU or Oregon was the better team, however stats state OSU has played against better offenses and far better defenses then Oregon.

After watching Oregon against a subpar FSU team and OSU against a possibly over-rated Bama team, I personally believe OSU is the better team and feel anyone who bets against OSU hasn't done any research.

Remember the ole miss loss? Sims had a chance to patiently drive down and win the game but instead throws a jump ball in the end zone from about the 40 to who?  Howard!!!!  So Sims does the same garbage in this game and it cost Bama the game. Sims and Kiffin choked

Sims damn sure didn't help none and when they had the ball on the 23 they should have run the ball.Sims should have had 2 more int, if Ohio State could catch the ball.

A QB throws 3 picks in a game I'm not sure you can say he choked. I might say he played like chit. What puzzles me is Bama gets the ball at the OSU 23 why aren't they running the ball? They must have had at least 165 - 180 yds rushing and probably averaged close to 5 ypa. In any event Sims threw a chit pass that got picked, if you want to say it's because he choked I'm not going to argue, and I'm not comparing Sims to the greats but I've seen Manning, Brady, Farve etc throw chit passes in crucial situations and I wouldn't say they choked!

Bama had an off night.  Couldn't seem to get the tackles and put Sims in a position where he was not used to.  But to say the season stats showed that OSU was the better team is ridiculous.  Now that we have this playoff format a team can be dominant all season and if they have a bad night in the playoff game they are done.  But to say some of the things that are being said in the forum based on the outcome of one game is not very intelligent.  Guess there is a lot of contempt for Alabama's former success.  Defense was not as good as in previous championship years but you cant win all the time.

Alabamas Tackles for a Loss was 306 and wasnt in the top 50, OSU's was about 400 (a whopping 100 more) and was ranked 14th.

Alabamas Team Sacks was 20 (not in the top 50) and OSU's was 40 (12th)

Alabamas passing defense?

I can say you might think its a fluke the B1G did wo well in bowls, but is it also a fluke that
OSU: Beat bama with 5th best offense 27th best defense 13-1
MSU: Beat Baylor with 7th best offense and 22nd best defense 11-2
Wisky: Beat Auburn with the 28th best offense and 17th best defense 11-3

Maybe, just maybe the B1G, the only conference with three 11 win teams and their big games is better then SEC who lost all their big games?

Bama had a tough night because they played by far the best team they had seen. The OSU speed on Offense COMPLETELY exposed the Tide's D. They could not stop the run or pass from an offense ran by a 3RD STRING QB. OSU was faster on D too. If Bama doesn't get those 2 gift turnovers, they lose by 3-4 TDS.
