i think spiller is the best everytime i write him off and say o they wont give it to him he has a great game. Guy is so explosive. Spiller gets my vote

There are a few good points on here for individuals favorite players.  The simple truth and facts are the man that lead his team to an undefeated season and just beat the #1 team in the country... Ingram will win this award hands down and deservingly so... There are a few good candidates for the award and if it was not for Ingram there might even be a real debate about this.... but,,,, give it to the man who deseves it the most... Ingram... anybody else will just not be right.... MHO

If the award goes to the best player in College Football as it is supposed tom not the best offensive player then Ndamukong Suh is the winner hands down. He was dominant last night.

When there is a viable candidate that is white and plays QB on a winning team, he will be really close to a lock.  Just like Gino Torretta  beat out Marshall Faulk in a landslide, Colt McCoy will win in a landslide over Ingram and Gerhart.

I really think Spiller should get it.. 300 total yards, 4 TD's.. Clemson is a .500 team or below if he's not there..

or Ingram who is just a beast

The same CJ Spiller who goes up against ACC defenses all week, and the SECOND he faces an SEC defense (that Ingram faces all year) he gets COMPLETELY shut down?

CJ Spiller is a very, very good player but I just laugh whenever anyone brings up his name for the Heisman. It's a joke.

I'm a Bama fan and my ty top 4 are:

1.  Ndamukong Suh

2.  CJ SPiller

3.  Toby Gerhart

4.  Mark Ingram

I'm rooting for Ingram, but I don't think he is the most deserving.  Out of those 4, only Ingram will even be invited to New York.  The award is a complete fraud!!!

Gerhart will DEFINITELY be invited. The final 4 will be McCoy, Tebow, Ingram. and Gerhart.

After last night, Suh will be in NYC.  You can book it.

 

Colt lost it last night as well. He only played against 2 good defenses all year in OU and NEB and he didn't do shit.

If Suh isn't a finalist, and if McCoy wins, the Heisman will become the Nobel Peace Prize and become absolutly meaningless.

you do realize that spiller was hurt for the majority of that game with turf toe and did not get many opportunities. dont bash anyone who says spiller should win heisman the guy is a stud. Why dont you go do some research.

If Suh doesn't win its bs and he prob won't win, I bet you he will be the best pro of all of them.

My vote would go to ingram all though I understand why people like Gerhart. Ingram has just as  many total yards, has half a yard more per rushing attempt, and plays against much better defenses... Gerhart has done his against 0 top 25 defenses... Ingram has faced 5 top 25 defenses... Also Gerhart has 43 more rushing attempts... 

Ingram:

Rushing Yards: 1542

Average YPC: 6.2

TD-15

Receiving yards: 322

TD-3

Gerhart: 

Rushing Yards: 1736

Average YPC- 5.6

TD- 26

Receiving Yards- 149

TD- 0

I think it comes down between these 2 but IMO Ingram will get the nod because of the calibur of defenses he has faced while putting up very similar numbers..

what your buddy Double Up would say if he had the balls....

     * you're right BTW......landslide maybe not.......swing it around....if Colt so happened to be black (dark skin brother....not marcus allen / OJ).....he would certainly be out......
    * if Colt somehow wins.....it will be a "career achievement" type thing......rather than simply because he is white.....POINT IS...>it don't hurt
