Well it is on to week 4 of the college fooball season. Through 3 weeks i am very pleased with where I am sitting. I hit on both of my 5 unit plays last week. (i barely have 5 unit plays everyother week or three weeks so to have two in the same week was big for me). Those two big plays were on LSU and the Fighting Illini of Illinois. i am a huge illini fan and i knew last week was a perfect spot for them to win that game. they were building it up since spring practice and ASU was in a bit of a trap after beating mizzou on a friday night primetime and then having USC the week following a trip to Champaign-Urbana.
On that note if your looking for a live dog it pains me to say this but take a look at Western Michigan this week. Ron Zook and the Illini are known for a letdown after a big win. And after beating ASU in primetime and northwestern and the big ten opener on deck this game against WMU is a bit scary. I know there are a lot of new players but WMU did beat Illinois three years ago up at Ford Field in detroit. However I wont be betting this game cuz I am a season ticket holder and dont bet against the beloved, esp not at home.
