Start up $5k, Goal = $20k

First week posting this season.  Just pulled $5k from my stocks and my goal is to make $20k by the end of the season ... so here we go let's make some money.  Putting some bets in early for this week, picks coming shortly

HOUSTON -27 550/500

This team is clicking on all cylinders right now and Case Keenum is finally catching his groove.  Rice is just a very bad team and they will find themselves down big early ... which means they will have to give up on the run and become one-dimensional which will then favor the cougars even more.  Look at this game to be a blowout on national tv.  Keenum throws for 350+ yards with 5TD's.

KState +14 550/500

This is more of a fade on oklahoma than anything else.  They are not a top tier team this year and landry jones is a joke.  I see a possibility that Kstate might pull off the outright win, but ill be happy and take my 14pts which is way too many points in my opinion.  I understand the sooners are mad about their loss to tex tech and they want to come back strong, but kstate is a strong team and they will not just lay over and die for them.

The warriors are hard team to bet on because you never know what team will show up.  I do believe that coach mack is fired up about all the turnovers they gave up and I see him rallying to get a much needed win over the vandals.  Moniz will look like a stud and as long as he uses his mobility this game could be a possible blowout

Wisky -8  440/400

The shoe is a tough place to play no matter what but fortunately for us this is not the same ohio st team we have seen in previous years.  Their QB play is disgusting and I will put my money on the better qb all day long.  The best thing ohio st has going for them is their defense but they will get tired when it gets late into the game and that is when wisky's superior running attack will trample them.  It also helps to have a QB like russel wilson who doesnt make much mistakes.

Hawaii is a bit scary to play, but trust me when this offense clicks they it turns into a blowout.

Put these plays in last night, I know it is NFL, but I want to document everything:

Ravens  -10  330/300
Ravens 1h  -6.5  330/300

Unless MJD can rush for 300+ yards and score 4 TD's I think the Ravens D will have a field day.  Gabbert has not seen a defense like this yet!

I LOVE Miami on Thursday, but I think UConn covers. They're 9-0 as an underdog in this range and 6-0 against teams with a losing record.

Both ATS of course.

Dude, listen to me before its too late.

Your limits are way to big for your bankroll, specially if you are betting that many games.

You already have more than 60% of you bankroll in live bets and you havent even seen results. You have 1 bad week and you are almost broke.

Im telling you from personal experience. I started week 1 with 1k and had 8k last week. Now i have 0 and have to reload.

Make some rule and bankroll management guides and your are guaranteed to succeed in the long run.

Break those rules and you are guaranteed to go broke, trust me.

you have a chance of losing all your 5k in your first week! oklahoma is gonna beat the piss out of ksu. hawaii lost me 300 last week. osu isnt the same as old, but they might cover the 8 points. im a pitt grad and i dont think pitt covers. uconn always keeps it close as big dawgs, at least for a half! i also like virginia because of miami injuries and va has a good running game and defense. va players are smart and miami players are southern thugs. your houston bet is good. af and iowa are nice. i would lower your wagers and think about a parlay with some of them. i might fade all of your picks!

True, but their team tends to have hangovers on road trips. I mean they only showed up at La Tech. But BOL if you choose to play that game, cause I'm staying away.

I agree with HI_5-0...Stay away from the Hawaii game...Although it seems as if Hawaii will cover easily in this game, Moniz hasn't played well on the road with the exception of Louisiana Tech...Plus the major downfall for Hawaii is their special teams play...Their kicking game is just horrible...Halftime line was -13.5 last week against NMSU and they scored a TD to end the half only to miss the extra point to make the score 27-14...Even on the kick-off game...their kicker can't even kick it past the 20 yard-line...which always gives teams great field position to start their drives...I LIKE IOWA, WISCONSIN, CLEMSON, UTEP, OREGON 1st half, ARIZONA ST. 1st half...
