Indiana -10 vs FIU (Florida International University)

One of the best plays on the board that has not been mentioned.  Indiana is going to be very explosive on offense this year with an experienced offensive line, along with some great running backs and receivers. They got the QB transfer from Arizona, Dawkins, who is good passer, and is more than capable of putting up big numbers with the running backs and receivers that he has at his disposal, and with an offensive line that will provide him with enough protection. The offense also is loaded with experience, as most of their starters from last year on returning.

The key to this game is if the FIU defense which has a number of new starters, and had problems getting any type of pass rush last year can find a way to get to Dawkins, and it is going to be highly unlikely, as they just do not have the caliber of players on their roster who can pressure the Quarterback and raise chaos for the offensive lineman.  It would not be surprising to me to see Indiana win this by 20.

There record against the spread has no bearing what so ever on this game. This is a new year with new players, a new beginning. We will see what happens, but I do not see FIU stopping the experienced offense of the Hoosiers, as they have to many playmakers for a FIU defense that lacks talent on the defensive line.

Dawkins a good passer?? He's an athletic big strong guy but to say he is a good passer is a bit of a stretch. I'm not disagreeing with your play but the passing ability of Dawkins is probably a liability to the offense. He might break off some big runs and keep FIU on their heels but he aint slinging the rock around the field. My call is he probably eventually will be benched due to his arm. 

But all that being said I wish you luck on your play.

I guess we will let the game play out and see, but I did my due diligence and really love the Indiana offense against the FIU defense.

The line looks pretty good to me and can see IU covering. Agree with you Urban that the IU offense should do well against the FIU defense. That being said, it could be a 27-17 type game, making it a close call either way.
