Let me preface this by letting everyone know I am a Buckeye fan and do not typically bet on them but I am taking them this weekend. Reasons why . . .
OSU 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games
OSU 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games
OSU has the #1 defense in the country. . .they're only allowing 7.9 points per game, 67 yards rushing per game, and 146 passing per game.
They should be able to shut down PSUs offense fairly easily. Morelli is no Michael Robinson. He is bad and looks like a nervous nelly in the pocket.
Tressel is one of the best BIG game coaches in CFB hands down - not even up for discussion. Remember. . .Texas last year, Michigan the past 3 years, and the National Championship in 2002 when no one gave OSU a chance. He's a master at game plans. Most CFB fans know about how good OSU's defense is but haven't paid much attention to the offense. Beanie Wells is spectacular - he ran for over 200 yards last weekend and is a fantastic power runner (not to mention he was the #1 running back recruit in the nation coming out of highschool). Brandon Saine (his backup) is coming on strong - he's a good runner and has some good hands. Robiskie and Hartlineare the new Teddy Ginn Jr and Anthony Gonzalez. These guys have been amazing this year. Bottom line. . .taking the Buckeyes -4.

of course - OSU was outplayed and outcoached in the National Championship game. No doubt. OSU should've won the Texas game two years ago - remember that dropped pass to Ryan Hamby in the endzone? Terrible. OSU smacked a very good Michigan team in the mouth in 2004 after they had a horrible (at least in the minds of OSU fans) season. They have made it to a BCS game 4 of the past 5 years with a record of 3-1 and went to the Alamo Bowl in 2004 and beat Okie State. So my friend that is why I say Tressel is a great BIG game coach.

Mack Brown, Lloyd Carr and Larry Coker are/were horrible gameday coaches. I stopped reading your post after the line stating why Tressel is a big game coach because he beat these 3 losers.
GL with whatever your bet is

Tressel wins with the iron boat load of talent he has on hand, not a great football mind. He rarely plays, or wins a game where the Bucks are on the wrong end of overall talent. Boekman, and Morelli will both choke there asses off in this game. Boekman gets his first chance to show he belongs in a big time game. Washington doesn't count for me because quite frankly, they suck. Morelli is just plain terrible. Even at home. Neither team will be able to run the ball.
So the question is who chokes more. The senior playing at home, or the rook starting his first big game in a crazy ass hostile enviorment, at night none the less.
ANSWER...............Morelli.
Good Luck with the play. I can't pick a side, but being from Ohio I hope the Bucks win.

I don't bet tOSU very often as I like to keep my heart out of my pocket. Just want to add that the defense is even better than your 7.9 points per game. The offense gave up 2 TD's along with a saftey and Special teams had 1 TD ran back so the defense is closer to 5. something a game. Even then 2 of the scores on the defense was last minute drives against 2nd team players

Ok... food for thought... I know some of the staff for OSU and this is the only game they are "worried" about. In the big ten the home team is hard to play against... and when they are getting points it's either a play for the home dog or a no play. Good luck with your OSU bet but there are other games that I would put my $$ on...
