As far as an angle on this game: Syr is motivated to not lose their focus by playing a former coach. That happened last year when Syr met MTSU. They focused on Shafer being on the other sideline...err pressbox.  They are talking openly about that not happening this year. The WMU coach, Lester, is the guy who went to Oregon and recruited Dungey to Syr.

 

The game is tough. WMU has all the intangibles: night game at home vs a P5 team. If Syr is "focused on being focused and taking care of business" thye come into that environment and pull out the cover.

I like Miami, because LSU has WAY too many question marks on the offense. Lost Etling and Juice and got a new OC... That is not a good matchup for them going against a Miami defense that finished 3rd in the nation with 31 forced turnovers. 

Bowling Green got blown out the majority of the season last season, they have a decent QB who will scare you a few times but Oregon will have their backups in early second half. They should score at will. 

Houston, has the advantage in the trenches, has better value, they are a solid bet also and should score at will.

Went 2 and 1 lat night... (Played UCF late)... 

Northwestern looked pretty good... Good team in the trenches, good QB, great RB, defense got exposed a few times, but they will learn from their mistakes..

UCF is back with a vengeance, and they will make a solid run for the playoffs this season...

Wake Forrest is just bad... Will not be playing them again this season...

Adding Utah State Michigan State over 52 - Two really good QBs, defenses have been questionable at times. 

Wisconsin -34.5 - Western Kentucky will be lucky to score. 

San Diego State +14.5 - Just do not see Stanford rolling  away with this one.
