If you had extensive experience gambling, you either bet TCU SU or took the points.
Vegas was licking their chops when Boykin and Dotson were not going to play. They jumped that line from PK to -7.5 overnight and waited for all the thirsty bettors to dump $$$ on Oregon -7.5.
Then the past two days played out and 7 or 8 favorites won in a row in blowout fashion. And even when the last favorite didn't cover (Georgia), it still was never threatened.
So these circumstances lulled you all into a false sense of security. Remember, Oregon was only a -285 ML favorite. Those aren't close to invincible odds and were awfully suspicious considering how strongly the Ducks had performed leading up to the bowl game and what was going on with TCU.
I don't know if it was rigged or anything, but I can tell by all these circumstances and all the live betting that probably went on when Oregon was blowing things open in the first half that a lot of people lost money tonight.
If you were a seasoned vet, you knew to stay away from the Ducks.

Got one simple question for you. If Vernon Adams doesn't get hurt are you still writing this on here?
Easily. Vernon Adams is a former I-AA QB. No matter who was QB'ing Oregon, TCU was the team of destiny. Preseason #2 for a reason and you guys took Oregon -7.5 like it was the Patriots vs. Mater Dei high school.

Huh? So you believe that his 345 yards and 31 pts in just under 2 quarters of work would have suddenly dropped off? Really?

Give me a break. This was a classic case of a fluke HUGE injury blowing a team up. Adams doesn't go down and Oregon covers and wins by 20. And Vegas would've gotten buried like they have all bowl season.
How could you possibly think this was some Vegas hocus? This game was heading for a blowout like everyone other bowl in the last 72 hours. While you were sleeping, the Ducks have been rolling for two months. Just like the first half.
I wish we had some sportsbook managers who could comment on games like this to dispel these types of know it all threads. Because TCU won because Oregon's team CHANGED during the game.

It's funny how people always post on here "rigged" or "vegas does it again" and I am wondering if these same people have that same opinion when they are on the winning side? I highly doubt it. I had TCU tonight and I feel very lucky - if Adams doesn't get knocked out Oregon would have continued the dominance.

i would like to see reports or reasoning why they kept adams out
Yup. The game was rigged. Adams was not injured. The center was not injured ... no, sorry. Victims of corrupt system. Even if Adams was concussed (which is painfully obvious, he was not) ... you simply dont blow a 31pt lead and score ZERO ... NOTHING for the rest of the game, meanwhile your DEFENSE which had been on shutdown mode starts randomly crumbling ...? Oregon got the call, pulled adams, pulled their center, and layed down for Vegas' steel rod to penetrate.

Adams concussed. ESPN shows him wearing a bright orange ear plug on the sideline... why? Because people with concussions are sensitive to noise. Oregon defense? They sucked all year. Gave up 42 to Oregon State. They get worn down facing 90+ plays. TCU makes halftime adjustments. It's called in game coaching. There is no fix. Stop. Just stop.
