TCU has had the nations top defense 3 years in a row. Thats something you can hang your hat on. Sure they have to replace Dalton on offense, but they are going against a defense that is quite similar to warm swiss cheese.
Patterson vs Briles.....not even gonna go there
Yes, this is a revenge game for Baylor. However, almost every game they played last year and a lot this year will be "revenge" games because they lose so much.
Baylor lost its last 4 games of the season to decent competition and got manhandled by a soso Illinois squad in the bowl game. Meanwhile, TCU stuffed a pretty stout Wisky running attack......
Baylor and Art Briles are simply outclassed. TCU smoked them last year and this year will be no different. Lots of people think this is the year Baylor gets it done. R Griffin is a stud, but against this defense he wont be enough.
TCU 34 Baylor 20
TCU -3 (-120)

Train, it wont happen. Baylor Offensively will be one the nations best teams. Defensively they are bad at times, but overall this group will make strides in the right direction. You dont hear me say it very often, but Im guaranteeing a Baylor Win Tonight SU... For get the points, they wont need them.

there are 2 books that have 3 available, not only that, he clearly put -3 (-120) meaning that he paid extra juice to buy the hook and get his number at 3

Best of luck on this call, and I don't say this often, but I am going to have to disagree with you on this one. Give Gary Patterson time to prepare and he will figure out a way to slow down RGIII. The problem with RGIII is that if a team hits him, he gets jittery and struggles a bit (at least this was the case last year). It happened against TCU last year, it happened against OU and it happened in the second half against A&M. Add-in that an already bad defense lost their only strong player on that side of the ball to the draft, and I just don't see it.
I could be wrong, but I don't think so in this case. On a side note, if I am wrong, I will be back to give you props on this pick.
