UCLA under 20 team total. I would love to see it at 21 but I dont think they score more than 17 imo.

I just can't go BIG with a new QB on the road.  It hasn't worked for anyone else this weekend.

Each team has a new QB and a basic overall new system.  UCLA gets a transfer (Kevin Craft from Sand Diego State).  You have to lean to TEN here but I would look at the game more and see if you like the UNDER.  I could see that game being an ugly low scoring affair with UCLA doing little scoring.  By all accounts, TEN defense will give UCLA fits and the UCLA O Line is looking pretty bad vs. an SEC team. But how well will the new TEN QB (Jonathan Compton) click?  Fulmer will likely have this guy concentrating more on Xs and Os rather than stretching the field.
You know he will make a few mistakes on the road.

I'm feeling TEN 26-6 or something along those lines.  But a quick mistake by TEN QB could make this one more interesting.   I think the safe play if the under.

yeah yeah 3rd QB for UCLA, SEC superior, and better recruiting classes last 4 years.
 
So why is the line only 7.  You would think around 10.  I would take UCLA at 14 but not 10 or 7.
 
Is this a sucker bet or is it LA affect with large amount of money on a LA team.

SEC teams have been money ATS this weekend with the exception of MissSt.
 
Neuheisel and Chow will be good in 3-4 years, but this is a new system and the players are not their guys.  They don't have any playmakers that I see that can score against the Tenn D.
 
Tenn has a new QB and new OC, but they have enough playmakers to cover the number.  They  have a huge, experienced O-line, which will make a huge difference.  They also have something to prove after last year's piss poor opening performance.

SEC superiority? Tenn got beat down by another PAC-10 team to start last year. That said, UCLA is not Cal.

I think the side will land really close between 7-9 points......not touching it, although if I had to make a choice I'd take UCLA +8 & UNDER......even though UCLA may be "down" on offense I think they're "D" will keep it a low scoring game.  First start for UT QB Crompton on the road in LA won't be easy for him.  UT will test the UCLA DB's early by going deep.  As long as UCLA doesn't give UT momentum early then I think they can keep it close.

Gonna look like when Tenn walked into the "highly hyped" CAL's house last year and romped them in week 1

UCLA doesn't have near the offensive weapons at the skill positions that Cal had last year.

and with 3rd string QB, it's gonna be very tough for them to stay competitive in this one unless Ten makes stupid mistakes.  But then again, I never trust that coach anyway.

I struggle to bet on teams whose head coaches are jackasses...i.e. tennessee, pittsburgh, clemson, a team when Bill Callahan or Chan Gailey is their coach.

i really like tennessee here..knowing there history in the sec they would most definetly be GOOD defensively...offensively we will see but they practice vs the defense! make sense after they see game speed on defense should make them ready to handle the bruins...i see tennessee -7 maybe winning this by 13-16 pts and i would go with the under 47 allthough thats a little touchy for me...would feel better about it if it was over 50
