NO!! It has been written by the rajah of the forum Bling, that everyone could "clearly see" that the kick was missed! How dare even the announcers question wether or not the kick was missed? Have mercy on their souls! The mighty Bling will strike them too down in anger!!!

Look at the youtube video. Looks like he's aiming for that right upright, his body frame is angled to it.
Hard to freeze the video. BTW, I don't see a ref underneath the goal post at all.

I would think at least some of you people whining about this would have watched sportscenter and seen them extend the goal posts and clearly show the kicks were no good. Close, but no good.
If the kicks were good, don’t you think someone on the Boise staff would have said something by now?

A 30 yard kick is like a 3 foot putt in golf. It simply has to be automatic. It's his job.
That being said, the defense should've stopped Nevada offense late in the game as they were doing early in the game. It wasn't a complete game. They maybe underestimated Nevada, having beat them 10 years running.

Just out of curiosity, said what? We want a remach? We're gonna challenge it? Wether the kick was good or not, when has crying after the fact ever paid off? What's done is done.
The whole point is, when the kick happened, A LOT of people thought the kick was good. That includes the announcers, Boise's sideline, and Nevada's coaches. It was not "clearly" obvious that the kick was missed when it happened. And if it indeed was determined that the kick was missed, it was by the slimmest of margins.

I think Nevada can afford to buy some new, regulation-sized goal posts with the Bowl money boost they just picked up.

I just watch how fundamentally his shoulders were twisting, his frame was falling over, and after the kick he looks like he's falling backward. If he just squares up--done deal.
He just corkscrewed it up there.

Exactly. I watched a replay a bit ago and even HE knew he missed it.

This game POTENTIALLY cost Boise a shot at the national championship and millions of dollars. If the Boise staff and players did think the kick was good after looking at the replays it is highly unlikely that at least one person out of hundreds wouldn’t have said something about it by now.
But evidence clearly shows the kicks were no good, so what are they going to say?
Also I said “…watched sportscenter and seen them extend the goal posts and clearly show the kicks were no good.” I NEVER said it was “clearly obvious that the kick was missed when in happened.”

The clearly obvious part was not directed at you. My bad.

Try looking at the left side of the picture. You'll see Boise players running onto the field celebrating.
And if you saw the game, the Nevada sideline was confused as hell until they saw the ref's call.
But again. All that is normal behavior by two teams on an "obviously" missed field goal.

Who said anything about a conspiracy? I didn't. Your reading comprehension skills are terrible.
My point was, judging by the reaction of the Boise sideline, the Nevada sideline, and even the announcers, it wasn't " clearly obvious" that the kick was missed.
