Gold, I didnt read into FU much. It was like a scrimage. And I'll take 17-18 for 256 yards, 4 TDs, 0 INTs in a scrimage anyday.
Vandy is a hard team to read. UK has to beat Vandy, UGA, or UT to be bowl eligable so I expect HCRB to have his players coached up for this one.
Ole Miss has jumped to 5.5 because of the thugs at UT getting arrested. They don't play (I think) but it is now a 'no play' or if I can get 6.5+, a UT play.
I just don't see UF not covering this.
MSU dropped to 12.5. I thought it would go UP... I think it might as we get closer to game time. MSU always plays Bama tough and we know they can play above their head, see: UF vs MSU 2009
LSU is down to 24. 23.5 and I will have to play it. With Ole Miss on deck, there might be some look-ahead to factor in. This should be a warm up.
As far as 'if Auburn can beat Ole Miss so can Tennessee', that Auburn team that played Ole Miss would have one loss, max, this season. If that Auburn team playes the rest of the year, UGA will get rolled, Bama could get beat, and a nice bowl for the Tigers would be in the future.

Auburn has the better offense. You could say by a long shot. The Furman game mighhave squed (sp?) the stats some but I'd say the Tennessee Tech game did the same for UGAs D. Speaking of UGAs D. It is better than Auburn's...depending on which Auburn shows up. If the team that beat Ole Miss shows up, I'd give the nod to Auburn. Special teams goes to UGA as far as returns. Auburn can kick FGs with the best of them. Looking at the above statements, it looks like it should be a UGA pick. I just don't see it happening though.
The Auburn Tigers +4 2.5 units +160 ML 1 unit
Some times you just have to go with a gut feeling. This is somewhat one of those times. You can't call me a homer. I bet Ole Miss and advised to bet LSU. You can't say that I am looking through orange colored glasses. If you bet with your heart, you will lose. Sorry I don't have anything else to offer. Feel free to add insight but please not just a "your pick sucks".

Nice thread. Very tough situation for the Tide here. Think I'd lay off that LSU game. Those in-state rivalries have a way of costing you money. It's either the dog or no play for me in any in-state rivalry game. Double up has had a good bead on this KY team all year. It pays to listen to him.
