The reason Louisville didnt cover the line was due to Louisville's inability to run the ball effectively. They averaged 2.8 a carry. 2.8 is not going to get it done. It made Louisville one dimensional, and took away the effectiveness of the play action roll out which Louisville lives off of. 

Wasnt a set up, cause if Louisville was ripping off 5-10 yards runs they put up about 45 on them. 

Louisville played sloppy, penalties, dropped balls. 

I dont think Louisville could of played any worse on offense.

bk and rangerz..thank you for making my night. i didnt wager on the game or even watch the game. just got off work and popped on covers and happen to stumble into this thread. im literally spitting out pieces of food while i'm eating because you're responses are so fricken hilarious. i particularly liked the (also in on the fix one). still laughing..

Didn't it happened already this week, cmich vs ballst. Same thing happened, back door is part of the game. NFL always happened also, the losing team score a garbage td with last two minute , prevent defense. Etc.

The refs were on a fix from the outset. The first 15 yrd penalty was bogus. defender laid a nice hit to a guy who stayed inbounds. They call it unnec rough AFTER the play. The hit was DURING the play and it was nice. Then came the fumble favoring Ville, but the refs took a huge amount of time to TRY and find ANY way possible to over turn it.
   Dropped passes-yes--many of them, but it was simply the refs who spoiled the cover from drive 1.
   I did not see the last drive(as I was sleeping) but I almost have little doubt that when I read the play by play-I will read a flag that propels the drive to end zone.

I think I saw the refs out there on defense helping UCONN stuff the run. No wonder they had 2.8 yards a carry. Its like they had 14 guys on defense. One ref tackled Louisville for a loss.

Louisville played like sh*t....And it showed, and they still almost covered

If u take away the two semi big runs 20 yarder by Bridgewater and 14 yards by Brown. Minus those two plays, Louisville averaged 1.56 yards a carry on 28 runs. Pretty sure the refs didnt have anything to do with that.

I believe it was the agenda of the refs to not only help conn cover game, but 1q and 1h too. It just didn't work out for them because conn is that bad.
   I had ville for 1q and 1h and game. I watch enough football to know when the refs are my opponent too. 3 out of the first 5 flags were not right-ESPECIALLY the first 1.
   Refs were going to open the game by conn getting 7 and that would have given conn 1q,h and fg covers.
   When conn fumbled on the 10 it ruined their plan and the LONG replay on it was clear enough that refs knew they couldn't possibly overturn it. they wanted to tho.

U can be a smart guy all u like stache. I never said anything like u make up. I said the flags were flying in favore of conn and 3 out of the first 5 were not good calls--especially the first 15 yarder that ensured the drive move forward.
   All it takes is that 1st score to be conn's and the refs are done their job.

SUX TO LOSE but................................

backdoor covers happen weekly in college and at Pro level. Betting home dogs has been golden for me over yrs especially during the week.

UCONN nearly beat Michigan and you just knew they would not roll over. I had UConn tonight and would say I got lucky to be on the right side

Large spreads often come with backdoor coves.
I know it before I bet it. I'm not making a big stink or crying cause I lost. I am merely reporting my take on the game I saw. Ville was terrible and countless times I was shocked at the dropped passes. I just feel this was a rout brewing, and it began brewing the moment they lost in OT last year.
I believe the early flag calls were like a cup of cold water on your pot. It will never get boiling.
This game they were looking to get a front door cover. There were-I'm assuming with minimal games and a world of bettors-a lot of people on 1q h and fg ville and "they were not going to let that train leave the station. 1 bad flag can determine an outcome and I don't care where it comes during the game. Beginning or end.
