Im already trying to decide how to deal with the numbers from this very weird season. Its been fun and I do have a measure of pride in being able to get back on the plus side. Notes so far.....

Oklahoma defense. It might be a thing next year. Just saying.... Prolly the biggest improvement from a defensive unit in all cfb. They are starting to look like a legit defense and thats all oklahoma has been missing imo. Offense is great but defense wins championships. Oklahoma is on my list next year to watch.

Matt Campbell... Is he still at Iowa St? This guy is my favorite college coach right now. His next job, wherever it is, will be a very big decision because he will be jumping into the big boy pool. 

Bryan Harsin.... Wtf Boise. The performance of the offense vs San Jo defense was pretty bad. Makes me think the off-field stuff became distraction. Word is he is eyeballing Arizona job and emails came out about arguements with AD about honoring scholarships to seniors next year. Covid gave every player an extra year of eligibility but apparently Boise St doesnt want to pay another year for their guys.... or cant afford it... or their coach salary for tgat matter...I knew about this stuff going in but I took boise anyway. One program rising(san jose) and one maybe coming down (boise)

Clemson looked GOOD. REALLY GOOD. Lookin like a Bama/Clemson ship again

This might be best ND team Ive seen in awhile and they still were just not ready for primetime ball. Kelly is a great coach but whenever he has to step up, his guys just cant make the plays. Its a trend that goes back pretty far. ND beats the teams they are supposed to..... but when have they pulled off an upset under Kelly?!

Its a tough year bro. i just tried to smarten up and limit plays and another big help was to STOP PLAYING EARLY. For some reason, it was much easier to see the better plays later in the week vs trying to beat the number early like years past. Is it the flood of new money from legal gambling? ive always felt this was a big factor that i didnt know exactly how it could effect the numbers. but as i said.... we’ve had to learn and adjust on the fly
