Too much being put into how they finished the year, especially the bowl game Michigan didn't bother to show up to. Lost their O-Line... a really good O line which is a massive blow if you pay attention to college football.  They have tons of weapons, but against a really good front like Miami it could be a long day for Franks.  Miami could actually be undefeated deep into the season if they win tomorrow.  Miami has more question marks, but wouldn't be shocked if they beat the Gators... either way they should cover.

Easy money with the Canes. Judging by your name you clearly had blinders on with this pick which I can understand.  In the future, I'd advise to consider both sides of any point you make.  Quick to point out the freshmen starting on the OL for Miami, but never mentioned the Miami OL unit as a whole was vastly more experienced than Florida.  Franks is not good, he doesn't have the 2 NFL O-lineman protecting him anymore and he makes mistakes.  Florida will need the line to get better really quick or they're looking at an 8-4 let down of a season. Good luck the rest of the way.

I respectfully disagree with the immediate preceding post - Franks has excellent tools - he needs to be more consistent.  He has size; he can run; he has all the throws.  Yes he made a few mistakes with his reads but overall had a good game.  His OL was good in pass protection; not as much run blocking.  I agree they must improve but they have the talent to do so.  This Florida OL can be a good one - maybe not 'elite' - but good enough.  I thought the 'Canes would cover, but it was hardly 'easy money' as this could have gone either way ATS.  But Miami's defense was truly impressive (as was Florida) and if they can get their QB play better they will win a lot of games in the ACC.  This was a match of two very talented teams that made a lot of first game mistakes. Correct them and both of these teams are very tough to beat late season. 

Would have to say HockeyNight nailed it ! Congrats. What a fiasco for FL.  Franks obviously smoked a fattie before the game....as the two idiots in the secondary with their boneheaded end of game plays.  Really impressed with the job Diaz, Enos, D and Fr QB  did. Impressive as hell.  And this is from an UGA grad.  Wish we were playing FL next week....to put a solid azz whoopin on em.

Only if those Frosh on the O Line get better.  Most teams won't gift over as much as FL did .  Plus the gangster tude hurt Miami far more than it helped them.

Still, the ACC is weak, so the Canes should win games.  But Manny Diaz?  He doesn't have control of his players yet.  We'll see.
