Oh gawdd... This game looks like it's going to be gawd awful. Looking at the historical data from the match up page, it looks as if Georgia Southern has "historically owned S. Alabama's a$$" for the past 5 match ups. Georgia Southern has outscored them and covered the spread and this time, the odds makers have left the spread the same from the previous match up last year to "confuse" bettors but therein lies the problem with this game. You think you want to be "sharp/smart" and take the points at home with the horrible team but this may be a situation where you may just want to take the obvious "better" team of the two or pass on this game. This would explain the line movement as to why it moved down from 13.5 to where it's at now. Bettors trying to be "sharp/smart" with a horrible team. It reminds me of this past Monday night football where all the "smart/sharp" people were backing the horrible Bengals and the Bengals couldn't score to save their life.
If you decide to take the dog at home, you may be sitting with 10 worthless points when your team can't even get any offense going. Sometimes, it's either pass or take the obvious pick. If you do play this, I would highly recommend that you not bet a full unit or bet a lot because there are a whole bunch of better games coming up on Saturday..
BOL of luck in whatever you decide..
For the record, the Covers expert "Zach Cimini" provided a free pick and recommended taking South Alabama..
"Schrödinger's bet." A bet that loses when you bet it but wins when you DON'T bet it...

Seahawks or no play...I can't see the Rams winning 3 straight on the road and Seattle losing 2 straight at home...Short week tends to favor the home team.
More of must win game for the Seahawks already losing to the Saints @ home as these tie breaker games will come into play for playoff seeding with Rams/Saints/Seahawks all probably making the playoffs....Goff has been horrible going back to last season and its not surprising since the Rams can't run the ball..

Georgia southern isn’t as bad as people think. They’re normally a well coached team. They lost to a very good Louisiana Lafayette team who beat Ohio by 30. Their other losses are LSU and an undefeated Minnesota team who could be a dark horse in the big ten west. USA is definitely a bottom feeder. I’m loving the -10

Temple is a more balance team. Pass n rush play makers can score. The other team only got home field and no rushing game so don't expect their rushing crew to score much. Plus their qb has int just as much as his td. Recipe for damage

ANNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDD those 10 garbage points came into play for South Alabama and OF course Georgia Southern decides to "barely" win when they've blown out this team multiple times by double digits before..
