Thursday Night.... 4 Reasons Why I like Mississippi State

1.  Auburn won 49-24 last year, covering the 15 point spread (and the spread is only 2 points this year)

2.  Ranked team v. home dog (and the spread is only 2 points)

3.  Reverse line movement, 70% on Auburn and the line dropped from 2.5 to 2.  (70-30 rule)

4.  There are only two college games Thursday night, both of which overlap time wise and this is the game where most of the money will be... and so this is the game "vegas" wants to win.  I state this to further back up points 1-3.

My strategy for this game will be to play Miss State 1H... if they lose i'm doubling down on them 2H.

I want to remind everyone that I'm martingaling Mississippi State from the 1H to the 2H if they lose.  I'm saying if they don't cover the 1H... the line will be adjusted so they will cover the 2H. 

Call that strategy crazy... I will be the crazy guy with cash in his pocket. 

Wouldn't the line movement that you are talking about also tell you to take Vtech yesterday also?

Yes it would... and when i martingaled them in the 2H I won.

What did you martingale?  Wasn't the 2nd half line a push at 3?

If you think Miss St is gonna win then why wouldn't you play the whole game rather than risking a martingale?

I got it at -2.5... and unless you live in Massachusetts I'm sure we don't have the same book.  

In this type of situation... I don't feel there is much risk at all in taking State to cover a half... which is why I will martingale it and increase my odds of winning.  My first post above states exactly why I think they cover at least one half.

Do you have a lean or do you just like asking questions?

Is there a possibility that you can lose 1st half and 2nd half but Miss St actually covers full game?

Your strategy is good- I like it but sounds risky.
