Duke +7.5 -110 (now +9 -110)

over 43.5 Bowling Green/San Jose State (now 45.5)

I snoozed on UCLA when it was a PK. Now I see -3 -110. I'll sit back and wait (watch it'll go up).

I'm waiting on my book to post ML on the 2 team parlay.

Yes, you are correct, i did also say that CMU on the ML was a strong play but again, i have said from the first post that I do not give records or gloat about games. Because, quite frankly, i am not giving out "picks" I am only giving out information and angles. The picks and the respect comes to you and the others (Brazil, Hawaii) in your thread that actually take the information, digest it, and then say its something worthy of mentioning in your posted plays. The OVER last night 100% did hit at the number it went off at in the casino but anyone having played it earlier in the day when i mentioned it would not have won. I'm past that play and moving forward to more positive pastures.

Todays card is VERY tough POOL but I absolutely agree about the over in the Bowling Green game. Weather often times scares people off from playing totals but the truth is these are 2 VERY active defenses that can each score on their own. Combine that with a very low total and you have a good play. As for the side, I would take another stab at Bowling Green on the ML. I think that is the only way to go if betting one of the teams as I am feeling a trend towards underdogs getting a TD winning outright. I would probably not lay the house on it but might be worth a sprinkle. Again, completely up to you.

Tonight's NBA games give one angle I would look hard at and that is the Los Angeles Clippers. I know for a FACT we still don't know how to set their lines (both ATS and O/U) and so I think they are still undervalued. The only team of late that Boston has even shown up for on the road was the Nets, and look what happened to Avery Johnson and that whole team. I look for the Clippers to win by about 12 points tonight.

These are my thoughts based on the information at hand. I also think that DUKE will come out fired up for the bowl game and that Cincinnati is a bit let down not being in a BCS game. Let's also not forget that Charlotte is like playing at home for Duke and they will pack the stadium to show gratitude and support. Maybe Cincy will cover but if they do it will be in the second half. I think Duke also has a chance to win outright just as i stated with Bowling Green.

One last point...the Bowling Green total here is 45.5 so anyone wanting to take me to the guillotine for the lines please keep that in mind

Kent State was lucky to be Bowling Green. The only reason they scored over 30 was their defense made some great plays. I do like Bowling Green today. Number 91 is a beast!!
