Well whenever your marquee win in a season is over a team that lost at home to a division 2 school, I guess thats worthy of going to the championship game

I think OSU is going to give them a game. Eventough I hate that OSU is in the game. I guess this is what I get for rooting against WV or Missouri so that the Trojans don't have to play OSU (since we play them next year in week 2). But boy, I never imagined USC would get Illinois. What an insult.

I don't have a problem with OSU being in the title game.

It's LSU that's the problem.

Proponents of the BCS say, "Oh, the entire season is a playoff."

Well, LSU lost the game when everything was on the line - AT HOME.

Oklahoma won all the games they had to.

I don't buy this "Their two losses were in triple OT."  Why does that matter?  A loss is a loss.

What about all the games they barely won?

Ohio State will get smoked by the 2nd best team in the SEC.  They aren't that good.  When they start scheduling some difficult teams in their schedule, then talk shit.  Until then, go stand with the Hawaii boosters.

I made a post in another thread, but it is pretty stupid that Illinois in the BCS.  They don't deserve it at all.

I was looking forward to the Zook/Florida storyline in the Capital One/Citrus Bowl.

UGA vs. USC would have been a much, much more compelling matchup.

Remember what happened to Ohio St. last year. It will happen again becasue OHIO ST. blows and they don't deserve to be in the Championship game.

I thought there was a definite shot at Zook vs. UF. Never thought Illinois vs. USC,. Never once did that cross my mind last night, and today, until 2 hours prior to the announcement. I thought my friends were joking.

I think this is similar to last year. Not many gave UF a chance, and we saw what happened.
 
No matter how much better a team is, you have to come to play. Plenty of examples throughout this season (USC/Stanford, WV/Pitt).

0-9 is coming!!!  LSU sure isn't Akron, Kent, and that vaunted Youngstown State squad.  I can't wait for these slow, overrated bums to get exposed.  Also, can't wait for those obnoxious, ignorant fans to get some southern hospitality from roughly 100,000 person-asses...they have no idea what they are walking into.
