This is on the heels of his comment that he
 "has not had direct contact with anyone at Clemson"    
 
If it's true, and I think it is possible, Clemson could do alot worse.

Tuberville makes Bill Clinton look like the most honest man in the world.  He tells Ole Miss there is absolutely no way he would leave, so Ole Miss takes him at his word and doesn’t start looking for a new head coach.  Tuberville leaves Ole Miss days later.  Tuberville told his offense coordinator he was fine and in no danger of losing his job.  The very next week he was fired.

 

I hope this guy gets his comeuppance.

Airforce you are way off base with this...sorry to ruin everyones fun but Tuberville isn't going to be fired this week or the next.Expect to see him back on the AU sideline next year.Oh and KINGSABAN 7 is coming.

auburn will not win the iron bowl this year and most likeyl not anywhere in the near future, fuck Tubby, and fuck auburn ionly reason they've been goo in oast years is because of our scholarship probations, hey'v took our recruits but thatis over, witht he top recruiting class in the nation we will become a powe house again, alabama to win 3 out of next 5 sec championships, and hpefully and national title

Auburn has spanked us for 6 years and any fellow bama fans that can't acknowledge that are pretty dumb IMO...

Not sure about Alabama/Auburn, but agree that Fulmer is close to gone.  Rumblings from major alumni getting to A.D. Hamilton.  He stayed last year because he was able to sneak in the back door and won the SEC East, and almost pulled off the big upset of eventual champ LSU in the SEC title.  That bought him another year.  UT is 2-4 right now. If the Vols don't finish at least 6-6 he's done! They MIGHT be able to do it  based on remaining schedule (below), but it's shaky at best!

I have a friend that works in the West Virginia athletic deptartment.  I spoke to him earlier, and he said that talk around the office is confirming these rumors.  WV is scheduled to play Auburn next week, and apparently the staff at WV has been told to expect Tubs to be gone by the end of the week.

I am an Auburn student and I must say, this is a very ignorant post. Scholarship probation or not, we have beat you SIX years in a row. Quit using that as a crutch for why you have not taken care of business. Alabama has won some big games within the past 6 years but they have not been able to beat Auburn. I understand that you do not like Tubberville but lets be honest, its because he has put a down south whooping on your beloved Criminal Tide the past 6 years. So just hop back on the bandwagon like the majority of Alabama fans and go ahead and claim another national championship for almost being ranked #1 in the nation or getting some votes for the #1 spot. The one thing I am grateful for every day is that I am not an Alabama fan. Its great to be an Auburn Tiger.

I normally don't try to get into these pissing contests, but you've struck my interests.  Let's talk facts:

1) Criminal Tide? That's clever, I've never heard that one before.  Here's something you've probably never heard, or at least forget about: Guess which program has the most football enduced probabations in the history of college football? You guessed it, Your beloved Tigers.

2) I'm not going to bring up past national championships, I'll just talk about the future: When Alabama goes undefeated the next time, they WILL NOT be left out of the national title game.  It must suck to know that sometimes you best just isn't good enough. 

3) It's great to be an Auburn Tiger? How many times have you booed your team this year and cussed Tuberville and Franklin for everything they're worth like every other fairweather Auburn fan I know?  You don't have to respond to that one, just be honest with yourself and let it roll around that head of yours for a while.  If never seen where the dean of students has to send out a mass email to students to NOT boo your own team because "they want to win just as bad as you do, and they're trying very hard". So hey, that's great that you are thankful you're not a Bama fan, cause with fans like Auburns', who needs the opposing teams fans to show up, right?

I'm trying not to beat the dead tiger here, but it's just incredible to me when Chris Todd's mom has to call Brandon Cox's mom to see how her son handle being booed off the field by Auburn's fans and cheering when he got hurt, because Chris just wasn't handling it very well at all, and she was concerned...

That's all I've got for now, but good luck with the scout team this weekend, I hear they've got some studs on there this year.

i live in tide town but listen to sports radio all the time havent heard this anywhere all they talk about is lifting the redshirt off 4th string qb and letting him try to salvage season
