So now, Michigan St will probably need to make a turnover for Tech to get the ball back on a short field. I think that's probably about the only way that this is a cover for them.

Michigan St. has moved the ball well in the 2nd half, and all game, so my guess from watching is that State will threaten to score. Remember, all they need is a FG of their own to tie this game, and end of any chance for Tech backers of a cover.

For Tech, it's either a quick 3 and out, or a turnover. Michigan St. still has the 3 TO's. If they keep them (and are forced to punt), that will also force Tech to continue playing.
