UCLA +25 and heres why...(and yes my book has 25)

i was trying to figure out who to take in this game and i decided to look at the rushing off/def for both teams. not their total rank in rushing defense or offense but the numbers per game these teams put up and the competition they are putting them up against.

oregons D is seceptible to the run. except for games against port; st and new mexico (who are god awful and i didnt even factor into this) the oregon D has given up :  91 Wazzu

obvioisly wazzu is horrendous aswell. i know ucla's D had been worse and oregon is the best big play team in the country.

but heres UCLA's rushing stats(up until last week was 10th in the country. so what did CAL do to hold them up?) : Kstate 193

im dont get what happened in the Cal game. hopefully CalBear reads this and fills me in on the defensive scheme. My point is that UCLA can run and running takes time off the clock. Hell, running is all they can do. they have a superior Oline to Oregons Dline as far as size and i think this becomes a running clock game. My bet is based on the fact i think UCLA can put up 21 at least. this forces Oregon to score 46 to push at the line I have. And i know oregon can score fast. but if UCLA is taking chunks off the clock and forcing the ducks to play D i think this line will be hard to cover.  Thats my personal opinion. In no way do i think UCLA has a chnace to win but i do think they have  a good shot at 25.  so  UCLA +25

9? so corners will be by themselves?i dont know a coach in the country that will leave two 21 yr old corners by themselves on a field with zero help. oregon doesnt have darrelle revis and asomugha. i think 8 is the number you are talking about. read your thread tho. we have a differing opinion on this one. Its called "CONTAINMENT" dont let the QB get to the edge.... Prince (who may not even start) is not a mobile QB hes got descent speed but not ideally for the Pistol Offense.... UCLA is still transitioning into this style of offense and don't have the right players to run it yet...

The only thing that scares me is that OREGON plays USC nxt dwn in LA and this may be a Look Ahead spot... I think OREGON will win the game but idk if they will cover the number... this is a game time desicion with me but i definantly am leaning OREGON...
