Way to take it like a man, OC_Sharp949.
Unless some major personnel changes come to fruition (and most seasons they do), here is how I am inclined to see the rest of the Bruins schedule panning out:
Utah Still not sold on the Utes; year in and year out they are pretty good at home, and not good on the road. Not enough offense to hang with UCLA. W
Oregon Obviously home field is big here......UCLA has the talent to hang in there with this season's Ducks, but will they be able to get over the psychological hump and actually win? I wouldn't be surprised if the Bruins are a slight favorite in this one. Tossup.
@ California California is better this season, and off of the big game with Oregon, this is a classic hangover situation for what will probably be a heavily favored UCLA...may not be pretty, but it is a W.
@ Colorado I have a very low opinion of Colorado. The trip north to altitude is cause for concern, but the Buffs blow. W
Arizona Arizona reminds me a lot of Arizona State. If UCLA is undefeated, then they will roll up AU. If not they still win. W.
@UW This matchup could be a pretty good one. A trip to Seattle in November could catch UCLA a bit weary.....again, if they are undefeated the pressure will be enormous. They will have to play very good football to win this one...... Tossup.
bye
USC Rivalry game. It seems like the team with the most to lose in this one usually does just that. USC has depth problems on defense, and honestly, Sark lost some respect in my book with the dump at BC. Considering playing Oregon State to win outright at USC this Saturday.... UCLA rolls in this one. W
Stanford Again, situations are huge, but UCLA has not beaten Stanford under Mora. Stanford HC Shaw can be conservative to a fault....I would look for another win here for UCLA. W
So, I have 6 wins and 2 tossups the rest of the way for the Bruins. The Oregon game will probably be the game of the year in the PAC, but that late season trip to Seattle will be challenging as well.
As always, things change by the minute it seems, so all of this is out the window if Hundley decides to buy a Ducati and roll up the PCH tomorrow night.
