Modster is decent.....can run &amp; throw. But UCLA has an awful defense. With Rosen they&#x27;re average......w/o him they stink.

Lots of talk about the Bruins backup.  KSU&#x27;s Freshman starter Skylar Thompson has won the job and can spin it.  If Snyder takes the reigns off it won&#x27;t be close.  Might be the old guys last hoorah and the players know it too.

Here is my take...Rosen could play if he wanted to..He does not want to because with the fired Mora, and a lower tier bowl, this game means nothing, and the downside is that he could get injured.  He is considered the #1 best pure play QB in the draft...so why risk it.   This way, by warming up, he can "publicly" say that the concussion protocol kept him from play, that he is tough and ready for the next level, and that he was not abandoning UCLA, his team in their bowl game.   So he saves face, does not get injured, is a top 3 pick, and Kelly gets to evaluate the next iteration of UCLA talent...I am on KSU -6, though I know this will be a good game, and I will be lucky to win the bet.   KSU is far from dominating, but from my perspective, with a month to prepare, and motivated, KSU should hopefully TCB and win and cover...

&#xA; &#xA;"Lucky to win the bet"..Give yourself more credit than that. K-State has played well the past few games. KSU&#x27;s QB can sling it. He reminds me of Zac Robinson who was a good QB at OK state. KSU has played some great passing teams this year and they&#x27;ll be ready for UCLA&#x27;s back-up.
