OSU or UGA both dont deserve to be in the big one....but are BCS caliper.
 
i guess if i had to pick, the bulldogs had a much rougher schedule. SEC owns the big 10.....ESPECIALLY this year......

SEC doesn't own anything. Big 10 has been slapping the SEC around in the bowls. The problem UGA has is they are hot right now, but now they have to wait almost 6 weeks for the NC game. they should lose some momentum. OSU should be able to prepare better this time also.

Georgia is a good team and been on a roll...but how can you put them in the National Title Game if they didn't even win their conference...The B.S. title game will likely be Ohio State v. LSU...It all mythical anyway until a playoff is put in place...

I personally feel you should have to win your conference to make it to the national title game.  Hell . . . at least win your side of the division. 

As a result i think this should cancel out Kansas and Georgia.

It's great that you personally feel that way... but a big stink was made about that rule 2 or 3 years ago when OU went to the NCG, and whoever writes the rules chose not to make that a requirement.

LSU has lost twice since UGA last lost, and does anyone really question whether or not UGA would have given LSU a better game than Tennessee did yesterday?  (Shit, with a performance like that, UGA might have won by 10 or more points.)

The bottom line is that UGA was #4, and #'s 1 and 2 lost.  LSU was #7 in the BCS, and the highest conference champion was #6 (Va. Tech).  Leaping from #6 or 7 to #2 over 3 or 4 very good teams is just as much B.S. as a non conference-champion going to the title game.

Look at the teams... would you take Georgia or LSU, given their recent form?  I'd take Georgia all day long. 

But, then, I'm biased.

VY, what's up bro?? Sorry to burst your bubble my friend but Georgia WILL NOT be in the title game. If they are you kinow I'll be pulling for you but I do believe it will be OSU and LSU. I know your reasoning but by Georgia not even winning there division that will hurt them. Missuiri out, Kansas out, OSU in  VT please LSU jumps them easily because of there 41 point victory over them. This is what happens with this BS BCS that we are stuck with. Hell USC is playing the best ball right now in my opinion as is Georgia but LSU winning the SEC will hopefully get them in. Will be intresting later on. Either way I hope its a SEC team in there putting a ass whippin on OSU.

Oklahoma had no business being in that title game . . . and it showed a few years ago. 

Anyway, I'll be fine with whomever ends up in the title game . . . be it Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma or USC.  Doesn't matter to me (as long as they beat Ohio St.).

Pissed that it would be my Hokies in the title game if not for the 4th quarter meltdown vs. BC 1 1/2 months ago.  Now don't get me wrong I don't think my Hokies are one of the 2 best teams in the nation . . . however, I do think they are a top 8 team and are playing their best ball of the year now.  Would love to see them vs. Georgia in the Orange Bowl . . . see how we matchup and exact a little revenge for last year before Glennon's meltdown (4 turnovers in a row!). 

Anyway I am getting off topic . . . about 5 or 6 teams can make a good case for why they should be in the title game . . . none of us can say one team is certainly the best one.

They are now predicting VT will face WVU in the Orange Bowl (If LSU gets in the national title game). 



How un-original.  I like to face new teams that my team is not familiar with during bowl season.

Well I feel I am #1 a week ago All we have to do is win and we stay #1, We Didn't, F' the cajun box team that can't beat two teams in overtime. They are the team with the most recent loss....
GO DAWGS, F the pollsters that shaft us because they want to see LSWho play in National Champ game.

Look, if you know ANYTHING baot the SEC, you know that Georgia is the best team here.  LSU limped through the second half of the season.  Tennessee should have won yesterday. 
 
Let me ask all the LSU cocksuckers this.....if Tennessee had won yesterday, does you "gotta have the conference champion play in the NC game" still hold water???  I thought not.
 
The systsem is bad we all know.  But to have the 4th ranked team in the BCS get jumped by the 7th ranked team is a travesty IF it happens.  I am still confident the voters will do what is right for one because they want to see the best possible game......and that ain't a brokedick dog LSU team.
 
I'd fell better about this if fucking Oklahoma ran past the Dawgs if someone has to.  At least they are a great team.

VIRGINIA TECH will be in the championship game.
Much like the nation rallied around the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS after KATRINA,the same type of publicity(sympathy) will be used by the networks ,a year after the horror @ virginia tech.
at least 4 or 5 schools can claim they should be in the championship game ,however non of them had their campus shot up by a madman and that makes a good storyline.
this is all business , DISASTER/AGONY sells.
now that the NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP is a popularity contest it all comes down to which 2 teams will bring in the biggest tv audience,the disaster @ VIRGINIA TECH last year will do just that.

The system is trash if you allow the 4th ranked team to get raped by the 7th ranked team.  LSU did nothing after about the 7th week of the season to deserve to play in the Fucking Alamo Bowl.

I kind of disagree with USC is playing the best ball.. UGA beat Auburn by 25 and Florida by 12.. USC's wins werent that great except for Arizona st. That being said both of them are balling. LSU is a fraud. They have probably the most talent, just havent put together for a whole game, I have made so much money fading them this year.
