Cal was an underdog because they&#x27;re an average team who&#x27;s over-performed and created a more favorable public perception than they&#x27;re worth.  UCLA is a more talented team.Same thing with Utah and USC.  Don&#x27;t overthink the spread. USC is a more talented team, and despite the fairy tale aurora surrounding Utah and the coaching question marks surrounding the Trojans, they&#x27;re still favored, as they should be.  Nothing fishy here.Despite outcomes, USC has outgained their opponent in every game but one, and Utah has been outgained a few times.  USC&#x27;s offense will be the difference in this game if they play up to their ability, in my opinion.Good luck whichever way you go.  I personally like the Trojans to win by a TD or more.

Exactly, UCLA is better than Cal. If you interpreted it as I was leaning Utah, I&#x27;m definitely leaning SC. The public will pound Utah because of their undefeated record and high ranking.
