USC

I like USC this year. I think they may have some depth issues but this team is extremely talented. Barkley will be a top 3 Heisman candidate IMO. HOWEVER, I think them going undefeated may be a longshot.

 @Stanford @Utah Oregon at home @Washington Notre Dame at home... These are all going to be tough games especially Oregon which will be their toughest of the year. Not saying they'll lose these 5 games but I can see this talented USC team losing 2 games this year! Will USC live up to the hype this year?

By the way I think the -37 week one against Hawaii is as chalky as a play can get but they are going to beat the dog shit out of Hawaii. I havent done my research on Hawaii just yet. is Moniz still playing? His point shaving ass.

Anyways whats your guys's thought on USC this year? I think they have a great shot at winning the Pac10. if theres one L I see them taking its to the Ducks.

USC needs to improve on the defensive side of the ball, untill they prove it you should worry about more then the Ducks.

jdnmoney- Im with you on LSU. 43 is a very high spread. I think they beat em by 40 easily i could definately see a 45-3 score tho. If the line was 39 I would be on it. I could see USC scoring 50-60 points. We'll see.Definately gotta drop at least 1 unit on um week 1. GL this season

2nd i think i have usc going 11-1 but the thing that concerns me is Kiffin he has this way of losing games he shouldn't lose. USC has screwed me the last 3 years i've won 1 usc game in 3 years and that was the utah game where i found out the  book gave me the win for the 23-14 final Do you think the pac-12 gave utah that 1st matchup by accidentUSC's job was to kill Utah and show them while you're now  one of us you really aren't 1 of us. So really Kiffin couldn't kill a team the right plus all the bleepin 2 pt conversions

USC just 1-5 straight up aganst Stanford and the ducks since 09....although should have better shot this year catching Stanford early with big drop at QB and playing Oregon in LA....that should be a helluva game like the two last year

Apocalypse... Yea ummm sorry that I am a regular working 26 year old struggling to make ends meet. The size of my units doesnt have anything to do with my early in the year game assessments. Just because I bet 100 per game doesnt mean I am not a serious better. I wish I could bet 300 a game and spend 1k on futures like some of these ballers on here but Im not one of them. in all due respect to you guys, I think you base your perspective on week 1 lsu on past history. this shutout loss to bama is really unprecedented. the loss was taken personally by the players, coaches, university and all of their fans in the state of Louisiana...huey long turned over in his grave that not. i think you guys underestimate the statement that will be made on 1 September by lsu. n texas is a very bad team coached by someone who had a mild stroke in the spring which also lost their leading career rusher. granted, a typical miles coached team plays up or down to their competition. yes, 42-43 points is a lot of chalk, but how many of you actually think N Texas will cross midfield. how many of you think N Texas will have more than 100 yards of total offense? i predict 10-12 3 and outs for mostly negative yardage for N Texas. I also predict LSU will score 2 TD's on either fumble recoveries or interceptions and another 2 TD's on a short field. I think LSU will be up 35 to 0 at half time. They have to get Mettenberger reps at least through the 3rd quarter to get timing down in game time situations prior to the Washington game. Granted, RGIII torched Washington in the bowl, but RGIII torched almost everyone else as well.

If Kiffin wants to run it up against Hawaii and NC, than he probably can. But, I believe those Hawaii players love NC and will play hard for him until the bitter end. Plus, even with their rif, N Chow is still considered to part of the USC family and an integral part of their championships and the development of their QB U reputation. I would rate Hawaii and N Texas about equal.

The only thing that concerns me a bit about the LSU v N Texas game is that it has a 12 noon CST start. If this were anything other than game 1 coming off a miserable 21-0 loss to Bama, I would lay off. If this were Sep 15 against Idaho as a 43+ spread with Auburn on deck, I would say no way. I think LSU makes a loud statement to show their fans and "themselves" that they are back and maybe better than ever.

IF USC IS AS GOOD AS THEY SUPPOSE TO BE HTF ARE THESE HARD GAMES? stanford early in season they should win that game for sure, at washington should be easy, vs notre dame should be a win they beat on nd on road last year.

i agree some reason i think utah might give them a game but utah is ranked like 33rd they should beat utah
