I think it has to do with a QB change at Miami.

Everyone Virginia has played completely sucks and that includes the infamously overhyped and overrated Notre Dame. They shouldn't even be in the top 25. However, Miami played a tough game on the road just like Clemson did in Chapel Hill.. and lost to a tough FLorida team that recently defeated Auburn... as well as gave Virginia Tech several points while winning the yardage totals in the game by upwards of 200 yards on both sides of the ball only to fall short on their comeback. Don't overthink this one or let any bastards from the CBS sportsline or elsewhere deter you from taking the best price you will get on a Miami moneyline at home for the remainder of the season. Friday night in Hard Rock Stadium has me considering alternate spreads upwards of -11.5... I don't see Miami falling to 2-4 on their season. This is a joke so don't overthink it. Lots of Miami offensive talent and home defense against an overrated Virginia team will be the outcome.

Miami is 1-3 not 2-3 that was a typo I'm a bit tipsy .. just like the oddsmakers who can't quite get the price correct on this one. Miami at 1-4 would be quite amusing though.
