With Rutgers loss last night, BCS calls Flashes with a win here. Turnovers kill ya--ask Rutgers.  Kent caused 35 forced TO's this year and had a +20 TO margin over opponents. Flashes traveled to BGSU and ran over an NCAA Top 10 Defense. They beat up OU last years MAC Champ. Flashes will slow Jordan Lynch enough to let their special teams win this one.
Northern is 3-8 ATS last 11 on neutral field.  Flashes are 14-3 ATS last 17 and 10-2 this season; 4-1 on Fridays.  Best team doesn't always win these games--ask Rutgers.

Perfect example of a situation where one team Kent State has a bigger carrott, the BCS invite. That must seem like the Super Bowl to the Golden Flashes...   I know that it's not like N Illinois has no motivation here, a conference championship is definitely motivating. That being said; IMHO Kent definitely has the ability to win this SU, and I give them the motivational edge.

Also, lets consider the possibility that the MAC would like to see a member in a BCS game???  If you have watched much MAC football, draw your own conclusion...  (no bs responses please) I'M JUST SAYIN'

I expect them to win this SU, but I think taking the points makes this a high value wager.
