Nice play but season will end when they play Ohio State. But good season none the less!
Good luck with the plays!

Minnesota has played no one and I mean no one. They will lose 3 or their last 4 games. This Minnesota team was giving tickets away at the beginning of the year if you bought 3 frozen pizzas at the grocery store(true story)! They beat all 3 teams to start the year with damn luck. Penn State is a different level of competition. Penn State's defense will shut down the run and Penn State's offense has been playing pretty good of late. I just see this game going 35-10. Minnesota loses this game and will be a touchdown underdog next week at Iowa. Mark it and before you know no one will care about this team. Wisconsin will have revenge also and by that time Minnesota's home game against them will be more Wisconsin fans than Minnesota. The BIG 10 WEST Championship game is this week in Madison. Look Minnesota is a nice story, but my last stat for all of you is that did you know that Minnesota has played everyone of their BIG 10 games against their opponents 2nd string QB. You better be 5-0 against the likes of Purdue, Illinois, Rutgers, Maryland, and Nebraska and their back up QB's. I have no problem eating crow, but I have watched every minute of both of these teams twice and you can't sell me on a crowd of 45,000 fans getting into Penn State's head. They have been to Iowa and won a tough game in front of 80,000 at night. I know my BIG 10 and this is easy money for Penn State +6.5. Franklin will not slow down either.

MN almost lost to SDSU, and NOT San Diego but South Dakota St. And by almost, I mean SDSU blew it..... They had that game. I'm impressed and shocked that they've won all their games. Winning can do strange things, believing you can win is half the battle. Penn St should roll, but on the road, any given Sat. I like Penn St large! and Epstein didn't kill himself:)

But they won't! (Positive thinking ) and the suicide watch hotlines will be getting blown up by these Nittany Lion backers who are betting the Nittany Lions based on how the Golden Gophers from Minnesota played the first few games of the season.

Minnesota has two receivers that are supposed to go to the NFL, not my opinion but that is how they are rated. Looking at the history PSU has seemed to have trouble playing Minnesota on the road. Even last year it was close in Happy Valley. Iowa and Minnesota are always tricky games for PSU.

This Penn State team is a year ahead of schedule; very young team that is extremely talented and hungry. The fastest defense I've ever seen at Psu. I believe they will play well this week and cover. I expect a close game at the half and Penn State pulls away in the second half. Hardly anybody in here is talking about the Lions defense; they are dominating everybody but also haven't faced an offense as explosive as the buckeyes'. If the defense plays well in Columbus, the offense has enough weapons to pull off the upset. I don't think they can win a shootout though.

Penn State is good, But Ohio State has NFL stars at every position. If they escape Minny, it might be close for a minute in CBUS but PSU has one threat and that is the speedy WR. They could barely hold off a rotten Michigan team. Ohio State will do what they do....blow out city.

Not a State Penn fan, not even a James Franklin fan. In fact, I think they may be the most overrated team in the Top 10. But Minnesota's record is the bigger fraud here. Yes, their fans will have them amped up for a big home game, and Fleck is a great motivator, but they may be too excited about playing in a big spotlight game. It is an atmosphere they are not accustomed to. SPU's rush defense will make the Gophers one dimensional and allow them to bring pressure on the QB without even thinking about the run game. Those narrow wins against lesser talent (South Dakota and Ga.Southern) were not a fake view of what Minney has under the hood, it shows their weak side. I don't expect a huge blowout, but the Lions win this game by double digits, say 27-13.
