On with it. Weather is a big factor especially considering Mizz QB has legs. If you don't have footing the teams will play more conservative. According to the weather channel it's raining all day long coming down hard at times so i think field conditions will be a big factor.
Mizz U 27 1st half

Hey guys...just got into work and the security gaurd at the front door says that it's been raining nonstop since about 3:30am. It's a virtual downpour right now...it looks really crappy out fella's, and it's supposed to continue throughout the day as you all know.

There are a few backroads that are being closed off due to high water levels, but that's it. No talk of postponement. The only thing any of the local TV/radio outlets are concerned with is getting the word out that there are no umbrella's allowed in the stadium lol, so they want people need to dress accordingly.
The Stadium is right on campus in the teeth of downtown. It's an extreme clusterfuck...but it's really easy to get to. Pretty much right off the interstate, and theres a main road that leads to it. The only people that should have significant problems are people coming from rural small-town area's around Columbia...

Common logic would say that rain will affect the qb's throws but what about the footing of the secondary?? I'm going to wait for the total til game time my book it has already dropped to 51 and yesterday it was 53. Take the over everyone!

from nebraska team site.. Rainy night: The forecast for Thursday night in Columbia, Mo., is not pretty: A 90 percent chance of rain, which is expected to be heavy at times. How much attention does Pelini give to weather forecasts before football games? “None,” he said. “We can’t control that. We’re ready for all that. I know this: They’re going to be playing on the same field in the same weather conditions we are.”
Reaching higher: Nebraska is No. 1 in the country in scoring defense but the Huskers still aren’t satisfied.
“I don’t think scoring (defense) is upholding the tradition,” Husker senior nose tackle Ndamukong Suh said. “I think tradition is not allowing teams to run the ball on you, pass the ball on you and if they do, at some point get a chance to break it out. A Blackshirt defense is definitely going to take those yards back off that board. By getting tackles for loss, getting sacks and getting interceptions and getting the ball back to our offense.”
