I made an early bet on GT win the lines came out. But Minnie worries me. Yes, they are missing their leading tackler, Cashman.
But Fleck has had time to adjust his D to GT.

And, Minnie fired DC Smith after nine games and named line coach Rossi as DC. For Rossi they held Wisc to 15, Purdue to 10, and NW to 24. That was after averaging giving up 43 points a game the first nine under Smith.

Hoping GT gets it, but I'm not going big.

Fair enough brother. If Minny can man up and stuff GT I will pay up and move on. On the flip side, Minny has a lot of young people on O and will be without its best O lineman.....I think the GT defense is the wildcard in this game....

Favorites have been covering the spread quite routinely so far, havent they? Doesnt matter what the public is on...cmon man, its almost 2019...dont be a blind sheep and think what the guy next door is betting has anything to do with the final result.

I love Gtech.... triple option teams typically do very well during bowl season, especially ATS... add that Minnesota has a few players suspended and their best LB is skipping the game to prepare for the draft, and it's hard to imagine them not getting the cover.

Good luck, on -4 and -5.5 and hit TTO 31 today.... Don't think there's any way GT loses on the basis they don't show up so if Minny has the better goods then is what it is..... couple things I like...

Playing in Ford field = good conditions for the offenses.. couple good Minny departures...  PJ & Co must have spent some time recruiting, Paul Johnson & Co has one objective.. coach retiring but also last option football game for GT should be added motivation for the Optioneers.... not to mention Minny fired their D-Coordinator after giving up 400 yds rushing to Illinois.. new coordinator Joseph Rossi hasn't seen the option in a few years with past teams .. just don't see Minny handling that GT O too well...

Hard to trust ny bowl games much with the flakey attitudes some teams come in with, new coaching staffs, and players sitting, etc. but I agree here, GT is one of the better bets so load up as much as you do on any other bowl game this year.  They have no top draft guys so all players should be available, and they are just happy to make a bowl so there should be no let down.  Players want to show out for the new coach coming in to secure a position. 

 

Minney is weak against the run and they won't be able to replicate this in practice, no one on that squad can run the TO offense at that speed in practice.  Add in the missing players and this could be a rout.   Tech should win by double digits, probably 17+.  But don't go crazy, it is still a bowl and weird things can happen.

Yep, its a bowl game and nothing would surprise me. So many variables to calculate.

I want to go BIG on GT as well.... I have been burned a little with GT over the years...especially in games where they're favored and more than a FG...

I honestly believe they do walk away in this game..

I saw that Houston/Army game. Wow. Talk about precision. That was a thing of beauty. If GT's running offense is anything close to Army's, we're in for a treat.

Houston had no heart and didn't wanna be there. I expect Minny to play hard, but it wont be enough.

Here is a Game which Clearly tells you who is happy to be here and who is Not...The Yellow Jackets thought better of themselves after going 5-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and tied for fourth-place finish behind No. 2 Clemson, Pitt, and Syracuse.

“How do we finish FOURTH in the ACC and get the lowest bowl in the ACC!!!!” Tech running back Qua Searcy tweeted. “HOW!!!!!”

Quarterback TaQuon Marshall tweeted, “I’m baffled at this bowl game …” with an emoji of a man holding his head in his hands.

That said, It’s also the final game for Johnson and his 10 assistants, none of whom will be retained by incoming coach Geoff Collins. That includes wide receivers coach Buzz Preston and offensive line coach Mike Sewak, the two assistants who have been with Johnson for the entirety of his 11-year tenure. Sewak will retire.... What That means is all those assistants are out trying to find Jobs and sending Resumes.. Not exactly focused on This game...

Gophers are dogs because of several players on Minnesota’s defense could be suspended for the Quick Lane Bowl. According to the report, the suspensions are due to off the field issues that occurred following Minnesota’s rivalry win over Wisconsin. That being said, no exact names have been released.

Good luck sir. I never look at trends and stuff like that. Im sure its all accurate. Whoever wrote that didnt mention a thing about Minny being down its best defender and an o lineman and possibly several others due to suspension. 

Also, the 6'8 400 pound doesnt concern me. Hes a freshman playing grown men.

I wrote it... I did mention there was players out for Minny, I guess I should have mention that the # 1 tackler was out.....But I wouldn't call a 6'8 400 pound guy a boy and not a Grown Man lol

At 18 years old he still hasnt developed all the muscle and has limited experience. When hes 21 look out...

I saw those tweets and was thinking the same thing about GTs motivation, but on the other hand that can motivate a team to send a message they do have a dominant running game which will be very tough for Minnesota to stop. I agree with Train and I see a GT blowout might play some alt lines.
