YTD: 0-1
NDSU +9.5
Stanford +9.5
Hey bro....I am really looking at Colorado hard as their defense is much improved and made a TOP 25 best unit rating which surprised me
Offense is supposed to be good. I know NDSU has a very strong FCS winning tradition....what are you thinking on it.
No move on the Colorado line yet for me
Nice to see you posting

Bro, Im just going with my gut. I think this number will hit 10 tho and so maybe i jumped the gun. Colorado at home as well. But I really like the returning production on both sides of the ball for the Bison. Colorado will have a lot of new faces and I just dont expect them to click right away, whereas the Bison have a system in place and their guys are familiar with it and their roles within it. They will be hyped to take on Colorado. Public will be backing Colorado HARD in this one so i believe the number is inflated. Bison have a solid Qb, RB’s by committee, Oline, DB’s, and coach. I think Colorado is a 6-8 win team but I dont expect them to come flying out the gates against this very solid NDSU squad that will probably be competing for FCS championship this season.

As for Stanford… I have a common friend with the head coach. I am very familiar with coach Taylor and my friend worked on his staff at Sacramento State. I liked the hire by Stanford and I believe he will have Stanford competitive. I believe most casuals dont know this and will be banking on TCU based on recency bias of seeing them in championship game. Stanford was very inexperienced and now have guys all over that are familiar with coach Taylor and his system. I think Stanford will be a live dog here. Expect Stanford to be improved on both sides of the ball this season.

You may be right....but what is usually the difference at FCS level first power teams? Speed most notably and size which is a dangerous combo to overcome
Did NDSU beat any power teams last couple of years?
+9.5 seems solid bro

They have a stud offensive player....1st round/2nd round pick potential if I am not mistaken...anything is possible
TCU is rated to do better based on experience and talent. I hope you get and home dog is good on the west coast I find

NDSU has won 6 of last 7 vs FBS
with wins over programs like Iowa(when they were ranked), Kstate, Iowa St, and Minnesota… Although its been awhile since any FBS team scheduled them. Probably because they’ve won 9 of the last 13 FCS titles.

This is the kind of thing I like.
Thank you General

Moving on to Stanford…. Classic Buy Low situation. Recency bias tells public that Stanford sux and TCU was in Natty just couple years ago. I trust in coach Taylor. I might be bias because I have a personal connection but I feel the football x’s and o’s and the personnel can match and work a lil bit in Stanfords favor.

Offense got a 67th rating and they have the home crowd..... upset?

Florida +2.5 vs Miami
Florida has won 2 of the last 3 meetings. Gators have one of toughest schedules in the country and may be better team and still lose games because of that schedule. I trust the Gators in the swamp. Mertz takes care of the football. Florida has a team capable of dealing with Miami in the trenches. Lots of hype around this Miami team and im sure the gators have heard it all. Rolling with the Swamp Boys.

Indiana/FIU UNDER 52
Cignetti takes over at Indiana and brings with him his offensive system and many of his defensive players from JMU. Mike Shanahan is the OC and if you watched JMU football, they dont operate with pace and they run the ball a lot. JMU operated at one of the slowest paces in the country and I expect that to continue at IU. The IU defense will be much improved with an injection of talent from JMU’s productive defense. At FIU, Mike Macintyre is in year 3 and I expect their defense to be much better this year. I think this game stays under this total as both teams feel it out early and IU sits on the ball for game clock eating drives.

I question how many points Clemson can score on this UGA defense. I watched the spring gama and expected to see better things from Klubnik and it was more of the same. He just doesnt get the ball out early with confidence and thats what you need to beat Georgia. Clemson defense is solid and experienced enough to slow Georgia a bit, but Im not sure Klubnik and Co. will be able to muster any offense. Feels like Georgia will cover this number but I think the better bet is the UNDER.
