Revenge spot. UAB's qb sensation Webb is gone. UAB is breaking in a new qb and rb. FAU's qb Van Camp gained valuable experience when Rusty Smith was injured and he played really well. Both defenses are even returning 9 starters.
Score prediction: UAB 27 - FAU 23

Good luck to you. Gotta be concerned that FAU doesn't have a single college start from their offensive line. They have also been blown out in their last 9 non conference road games.

this is more a fade of UAB than a play on FAU. UAB, w/out Webb, shouldn't belaying 13 to anybody. Even considering FAU's weak O - line, I give FAU a similiar team power rating as UAB and UAB doesn't have much of a home field advantage.

The number should be in the 11 - 11.5 range, so there is some value on the Golden Eagles. Southern Miss. has a nice defense, especially at linebacker. Should be low scoring.

FAU-according to Steele -zero returning starters on Offensive line and much smaller. The least experienced Off line in the country. Likes their Def alot;much improved. Food for thought.

To be honest, I'm not feeling confident about the FAU play but I'm gonna let the play ride.
Adding:
Boise St. -2.5 1.2 u to win 1.0 u
Boise St. is the real deal. Their defense has really improved the last couple years, just ask TCU. Va Tech has like 3 starters returning; should take them some time to gel. If this was the 4th or 5th game of the season the situation would be different. But, give me the more experienced team and the better passing qb.

Similiar situation as the Va Tech/Boise game. LSU is breaking in a lot of new starters. They'd be better off playing this game later in the year . Obviously, regardless of who is in the game, UNC's defense is gonna be nasty and UNC's Yates has plenty of talent around him.

Rivalry game, yes. But, not all rivalry games are close, like Iowa v. Iowa St. last season, I was on Iowa St.
Joker Phillips has been with his team longer and Kentucky has recruited better than Louisville the last several years. Louisville would be better off playing this game later in the year after having time to gel.
